I bought AGS-101 without charger, and i was wondering what chargers are compatible with that console?

Will this particular one work, because that's the one i want to buy?

I've been using my old non-AGS101 charger with my original DS, and my Ags101, and I've never had a problem. Pretty sure that charger would work with your GBAsp.

Just be sure it's correct for your location. That picture shows a European charger.

Well now that you mentioned it...
I am from Europe, but i think that i bought USA version of AGS-101..let me check...
Yes, i think that's US version of 101, it's saying C/AGT-USA

I want to buy original one. Thanks..and i think that's UK charger, right?

That one in the link does NOT work with a GBA SP.

I also have an American AGS-101 and I've used a UK GBA SP charger without any problem at all so the one in your first picture will work fine.

I recently came upon an original DS which has the same charging port as the SP......problem was it was dead and me with no charger :(

I split up an extra USB cable, isolated the positive & negative, made a little twisted knob for each and made contact with the DS

It instantly lit up orange meaning success :) it was charging only took like an hour n half to get Full Power....

I heard that's no good for the console..those USB chargers and similar... It also have less volts and charges slowly.

But thanks, i wanted to do that with my 3DS, but i decided to buy original one :)

I kinda make collection :D

Yeah the first one u posted should be fine no problem

Thing to look out in this type of thing is Voltage as it defers from NA/UK/EU/JAP and whut not u don't wanna blow up your handheld/phone/tablet cause of a wrong charger

Anyway, im still not sure i understand..should i buy this charger and what should i look when buying one in general?
All GBA SP/original ("fat") DS chargers are compatible with all GBA SPs/"fat" DSs. You do not need to worry where your GBA SP came from, or even if it's an AGS-101 or AGS-001. Your primary concern should be the charger's compatibility with your country's power outlets - proper shape, proper voltage.

as said above the main thing to look for is compatibility with your power outlet sockets etc, although the charger is NOT an official nintendo it IS for the UK market and power outlets and the only advantage is you have multiple consoles as this is compatible with ALL from a single charger meaning you dont need loads of different chargers for each. i have bought one of these from the argos link and i can confirm it works for all the consoles listed without any problems

It doesn't matter which region your console's from, all you have to make sure of is that the plug matches, the output voltage matches what the system expects and the charger's input voltage matches the outlet's voltage. In other words, any GBA SP charger will work with any GBA SP, you should only bother yourself with the charger's input voltage, which is either 110-130V or 220-240V.
