Saints Row: Gat out of Hell Announced for PS3/PS4/XB360/XBOne/PC

After the fall of THQ the fate of one of the most beloved "GTA-like" game franchises hung in limbo. Recently we had the pleasure of playing Saints Row 4, however I personally did not expect a "sequel" to come so soon.​

​

All the lovers of completely random carnage and over-the-top gameplay can rest assured though - a new Saints Row game, a stand-alone add-on to Saints Row 4, is coming soon to the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC and it will take you to a place you haven't visited before - hell itself!​

Saints Row: Gat out of Hell will be released on the 30.01.2015 for $19.95, it will also be a part of the upcoming Saints Row 4: Re-elected for PS4 and Xbox One.​

I think it should be clarified that this is a standalone expansion to Saints Row 4, and won't require Saints Row 4 to play it. That does mean this is coming to PS3 and 360, as well as Xbox One and PS4. To top it off, it will also be part of a Saints Row 4: Re-Elected bundle that will be releasing for the PS4 and Xbox One.

Being an expansion, Hell will be about half the size of the Saints Row 4 map, but there will be new weapons and such to play around with.

I was adjusting the main post as you were typing this - it is indeed a stand-alone expansion of SR4 and it is coming to both console generations.

Never played 4, but I heard good stuff about it, so I'll probably grab it for PS4 once I upgrade to next gen.

A little off Topic but the trailer and the most recent Saints row stuff has me Pumped up for Crackdown 3



That sensation of leaping Buildings,Busting Hulk-like Leaps while Gunning Mofos down was Sweet seems like Pre-Saints Row Madness

You're not missing much. To put it in no uncertain terms, it "ain't no GTA V".

That's nice, but GTA didn't come to Nintendo either, so I cannot compare. I should get out more and play other consoles. I got a hacked ps3 but not played much with it, just Diablo 3 and some other game I cannot remember the name of, oh and I started Borderlands but didn't get very far in to it. I guess if I had to buy the games then I would play them.
