I see, thanks. I will try injecting a header, but feel saver with using a retail card for online intensive games.

If you do buy it anyway, you can dump your own cartridge and play the backup from the gateway cart, will work online just like your original cart but save you some swapping.

I believe it is perfectly safe to update it on an emulated version of 8.1 keep in mind that 8.2 will be out soon and as long as you're using your own copy of mario kart it should be fine!

Can I play it on version 4.4 and it saves the savegame when I use it with gateway?
Can I play online with 4.4 until gateway arrives?

You are welcome.
But to be 100 % clear, I have not experimented it by myself.


This must work because MK7 use a 512 kb save file, and not use a 6.x encryption. To use your save, it would be necessary to dump it to the root of the SD Card when you would want use only your own ROM dump.

Don't you have your Gateway card yet? How can you use Emunand with out it?
