So I found out my Wii was bricked and I had installed priiloader so I used that to assess bootmii and then, I downgraded my Wii to 4.2U from 4.3U using bootmii. When I try to boot Wii it is black like before but when I try to press reset to access priiloader it doesn't show. Please help me. I don't know originally how my wii was bricked.

why did you downgraded a console with a brick?

you should had restore the nand backup you made before, not downgrade...

is bootmi an ios or boot2?

How do I know if it is ios or boot2 & I thought downgrading the console would fix it. Also my wii remote wont sync could the bluetooth may module have been broken so do I replace it?

do you have the nand backup of your console? if you made one?

if you don't have it, and you can't make the console do anything, i guess you can throw the wii in the trash.....

I might have one so what do I do? If I don't can use someone else's NAND file. My Wii is old not the new ones.

I'm not trying to be rude, but if you don't know what version of BootMii you have, and you don't know that downgrading your console could result in a brick, you really shouldn't be hacking.

you can't use another persons nand, it will make much worse...

if your wii is old enough, you should have bootmii as boot2 (but your wii must be from the really first ones), read this:

I installed BootMii/boot2, but it doesn't come up when I boot my Wii.

Try booting with no SD card inserted. If you see a brief set of flashes from the blue slot LED right after you hit the power button, try a different SD card. Make sure you have a directory named "bootmii" with the "armboot.bin" and "ppcboot.elf" files inside.
If you do not see those flashes, BootMii/boot2 is not installed.

if you DO HAVE YOUR OWN nand backup (from that specific console), and DO NOT have bootmii as boot2 and you really want to repair that wii, you need someone who is experienced on repairing electronics.
you can open your wii, find the nand chip, and flash it, using a programmer with your nand backup

please note: dont try to use another persons nand backup. this will not work.

if this is not possible, you can buy one wii on ebay and sell your wii as components or throw it into the trash...

I could attempt such a repair (I'm skilled in soldering and am an Electronics Engineering major), but with how cheap wiis are these days its prolly isn't worth it.

When you first thought it was bricked, had you done anything recently to cause a brick, e.g. installing a theme, region change, out-of-region update (you are in a PAL region w/NTSC SM)? Or did you just see a black screen on bootup and assume it was bricked?

What did you use to downgrade? Bootmii can only create/restore a NAND backup or launch another program. IIRC it can only load Comex NAND formatter or the bootmini version of Hackmii installer from SD, or start the Homebrew Channel if already installed or just boot to SM.
There is a program called cboot2 that can replace bootmii folder files with its own and load another program usually either Wad Manager 1.5 or MMM.

What programs, if any can you still run?
Is it a White Wii, and if so, do you have a GameCube controller?

Before you went and downgraded, could you turn the on the system with your Wiimote or did you have to press the power button on the console?
A bad Bluetooth module won't let a Wiimote power up the console and when you press the button you only get a black screen....
IF that was the case, AND you did the downgrade correctly (installing SM and IOS70), the bad BT module is still the cause of your black screen. there is great guide over on iFixit to replace BT module.

If you did an out-of region update AND have Bootmii as boot2 check out BLIND. (It could have been loaded from Priiloader but...)
