Hacking Convert Xillia 2 JAP save to USA...

Sure, Xillia 2 isn't out in USA for another month or so, but I am already dreading that he is a silent protagonist for the first playthrough. Luckily, in the Japanese version there is a grade shop unlockable that lets you use Ludger's actual voice instead of silence. I was thinking since it is possible to transfer Japanese symphonia saves to USA saves, it might be worth it for someone to convert a NG+ save from xillia 2 to the US versions save.

Anyone have any interest in this or can help make it happen?

When the NA version comes out I will be doing this. For the most part, region converting a save works just fine as long as there isn't any major addition between releases. (Like if they added extra dungeons or characters for different regions, the game wouldn't know how to handle the extra information or lack of it.) I'd be glad to help out when the time comes so I'll just subscribe to this topic or you can PM me then or whatever.

Awesome! Glad I'm not the only one feeling this. I'd like to start off on tuesday with it, so I'm thinking I might try to get a working complete save for the JPN version ASAP. If you have one, you should post it here.

I've seen saves floating around for the Japanese version, but they have been attached to DLC so if we try to use them on the english game, it is "missing" the costumes and cannot be loaded. :/

So we'd need a dlc-free save. Which is tough because I think a lot of people get the pre-order costumes in Japan.

Hmm. That's disappointing... Well, I'll keep looking though I haven't found a single JPN save yet.
