Hacking Play Animal Crossing on a 3DS 4.5 Gateway Hacked Console

Hi,

I currently have a 3DS 4.5 Gateway Hacked Console. I can play my backups with no flaw, all is fine.

Yesterday, I bought Animal Crossing New Leaf in order to play the game online. But, I have difficulty understanding what to do in order to play online without breaking the access to the Gateway.

Where do I start ? I have to flash the EmuNAND and boot a certain way ?

Is it dangerous to do so ? Does it contain risks ?

Animal crossing works on 4.5 by default, you could play it without doing anything

You can alsoplay online with gateway by backing up the gamecard and rename it to .3dz

Thanks for the quick answers. By the way, if I activate the Wifi on my 3DS, will it automatically download an update ?

Yeah it will download an update and start promoting you to update every time you turn the console on.......but it won't automatically update, only keep asking you if you want to

Ok, so I just have to :

- backup my game on the Gateway micro SD Card
- Rename it by changing its extension to ".3dz"
- Launch my 3DS in gateway mode as usual
- Activate Wifi
- Launch my game

Is that OK or did I miss something ? (I prefer to be cautious!)

you can play the originial cartridge with no problem...

whenever you use the original cartridge or the backup the cartridge, once you activate the wifi, it will ask to update..

it will just ask if you want. but it will prompt you everytime you turn on the device (and play a game i think...), its annoying but you can live with it

i find it kinda strange why does the update comes and you skip it. How can you play the game when it ask updates to play online?

because you don't need to be on the latest system firmware to play online, unlike, for example, ps3

yes, i understand. I used to play online on ps3 3.55. I can update the games in ps3 but i rather do not play online with the jailbreak ps3. Dont know if you can play online now with ps3 without any chances of ban.

well yeah there is a chance of ban, but you can play online if you want to take a risk there are ways to decrease the risk, look at psx-scene/ps3hax

Actually you could have played it online without buying the game, by using the header data from another ROM dumped with the Gateway (header data which is needed for online and missing from non-Gateway ROM dumps)

If I had a 3d printer I'd print 3ds(es). Then I'd print money with the printed 3ds(es).

there's honestly nothing (at the moment that i can think of) that i need to print out, to get a 3d printer, i wouldn't know what to use it for.
like a tablet computer, i could FIND a use for it (i guess i could start reading manga or something) but, i don't really need one in my life at all
