So I installed Bootmii as boot2 and ios. Then I went to Bootmii to try and back up my NAND. But it froze, so I shut it off. When I turned it back on again, it froze at the black screen after the health warning. It's like that every time now. If I'm not mistaken, this is a banner brick.

I can go into homebrew channel by installing it through hackmii and also access bootmii again. But I didn't create a NAND backup. I also tried re-installing the system menu but that didn't work either. So, what should I do? GOD BLESS THE FUCK OUT OF YOU FOR YOUR HELP!

PS. I just got this Wii and haven't even played any games on it so this really sucks :(

EDIT: Now it just says Mode Not Supported even though it was supported before...

I am on my phone in bed right now so I can't be of much help, but rest assured there is definitely a way to unbrick your wii unless it's a hardware fault.

Ohnescwanzenegger (sp?) can be used to make a vanilla nand for you to install using bootmii but this should only be used as a last resort, there is probably a better way that does not involve wiping everything off your wii. However you always have that to fall back on if nothing else helps.

Can you enter maintenance mode (Google/check YouTube for instructions since I am on my phone)? If you can it may be a message board letter brick and could be solved by using a home brew app.

I'll try to help you out properly tomorrow if I get a chance, unless someone beats me to it.

No, I'm not able to access the maintenance mode. But is there a clear and easy guide to create a vanilla nand? I didn't really have much on my wii anyway so I don't mind doing that.

No I don't have access to another TV atm. Is there any way I can undo this? Cuz I was able to view it a few hours ago.

Well my Wii doesn't even display on the TV anymore. It just says Mode not supported...
Did you do anything before that happened or did it happen completely out of the blue?
Sounds like the Wii is bricking itself when you try to use it... :P
You said you have BootMii as boot2, you can use that to unbrick in pretty much every scenario. Do you have the BootMii files on the Wii's SD card? (bootmii folder containing armboot.bin, bootmii.ini etc.)
Those files will be needed to use BootMii boot2, the installer should have created them when you installed BootMii. From there you can run HBC to run any homebrew needed for unbricking, you can also run homebrew directly without going through HBC, or you can restore a NAND backup created with ohneschwanzenegger as a last resort.

I have to leave now but I'll be back in a few hours.

I did something really stupid because I was desperate and hoped it would magically work somehow. I created a NAND backup after it bricked and restored it. Lmao. I've tried using BootMii but that doesn't work either. But just to be clear, what should I do with BootMii to unbrick it?
Also what Homebrew thing would I need to download for it to unbrick?

Thanks for replying. I've been using this YouTube video but I can't even get past the first step because it says Failed to load boot.dol from the front of the sd card. This is what it says on bootmii.ini:
VIDEO=PROGRESSIVE
AUTOBOOT=SYSMENU
BOOTDELAY=10

Btw is there a more instantaneous way of contacting you?
