Hey people!

I finished the first three games and AJ, and I don't know what to do with my life anymore. Seriously. I'm playing the "Investigations" spin-offs too, but they are kinda meh. So, is there any game similar to AA for the DS? Or should I just bare with it until I buy a 3DS (in about 3 months)?

I played a ton of games already, so I won't put a list of the ones I played, you're free to suggest something, whether I've played it or not, sooo, c'mon, type something, pleeease? X_X

what exactly do you like about the ace attorney series? because to my knowledge, theres really no other out of whack courtroom game.
if you like text heavy games, then hotel dusk or 999 or maybe even jacke hunter would probably work.

If you didn't like Investigations, that may be hard but there's:

-Trace Memory - Short, not that good; more like a tech demo.
-Another Code: R(Wii) - Sequel to Trace Memory, this one's one of my favorites but does not compare to Ace Attorney. You might find it boring. The story really starts to get interesting at the later chapters.
-Hotel Dusk - Somewhat plays like AAI but the characters/story are really good.
-The Last Window - The sequel to Hotel Dusk, personally I thought this one was much better than the first one.
-Again - I've heard it's similar to Hotel Dusk but I haven't played it.
-Famicom Detective Club Part II(SNES) - Haven't finished this one yet but what I played I liked.
-Ghost Trick Phantom Detective - More like an actual game than a novel, it's really good though.
-TWEWY - It's an action RPG but just for the story I'll include it.

These are all text based adventure games but there's nothing quite like Ace Attorney.
If you want something a little more intense try Japanese visual novels, I once played G Senjou no Maou and it was the most different from all the games I mentioned but it was quite enjoyable. It's most likely something I'll never try again though.

I know you already said you're going to play it, but I can't recommend Ghost Trick enough. The story, characters, art and sound are all fantastic. It's a masterpiece and my favorite game of all time, even above the Ace Attorney series.

If you like good stories, you should check Ghost Trick and The world ends with you.

though not on the DS, there's a game Called Danganronpa for PS Vita and PSP, the gameplay is similar to Ace attorney, there is the Investigation part and the Trial part, those are VERY similar to Ace attorney.

On case 6 of Ghost Trick so far, I'm surprised by the fact I didn't know about this game until only a few days ago ._. Still, I doubt it'll be better than AA, but hey, it's awesome nonetheless. Thanks to everyone who recommended it! :D

I don't want to say the obvious one but... Have you tried every Layton games? Those two licences are so similar that they just made a game Prof Layton vs Ace Attorney. ^^

For the DS the games that I know (Ghost trick, 999, Trace memory and Hotel dusk) were already posted, but for the SNES
I'd recommend Famicom Tantei Club Here is the opening and some gameplay

Oh, and on the goofy side there is touch detective and its sequels take a look.

This game is more goofy and less serious than the other recommendations, but its still a fun point'n click adventure game.
