Hi,

I've connected the WiiU on my TV using HDMI.
Now I want to connect the audio output from the WiiU to my surround receiver (stereo cinch)
But HOW?
Thanks

doesn't your receiver have input 1,2,3 etc? with mine i have output to hdmi 1 on the tv than just have mine plugged into input 3 on the receiver than i change to that and get both audio and video from 1 hdmi connection.

There's a problem getting surround sound from the Wii u your receiver has to support the Wii u's sound processing which I think is L PCM or something like that Wii u doesn't support 5.1dolby digital their sound is not compressed I know it sucks but if you have an updated receiver you will be ok or if you're tv has an optical out for sound that supports L PCM you will be fine.

Objection ! You can also use a cheap Wii/Wii U analog cable and get the stereo from this. (don't forget to activate the audio out on analog in the Wii U Settings)
