Hacking Is it possible to play eshop games on a Gateway?

I finally got my Gateway! Thanks to everyone here who helped with the info and purchase.

But when I went to search for eshop games, I couldn't find any of them for download. Do we have to purchase them? Or is there some other way to get them running on the 3DS/Gateway?

Yeah you can, but if you want to BUY other eShop games, you can't as 7.2.0's emunand encryption hasn't been cracked yet.

Firstly they are encrypted to the console they are downloaded to, so it requires someone with the knowledge and resources to decrypt the content downloaded....then the game has to be extracted and repackaged as a 3ds game, so it's not like game dumps where anyone can do it, it depends on the people with the knowledge to do so to A) have the game and B) decide they want to release it

eShop games are dumped directly from the 3DS NAND. We can backup the NAND, but all the files on it are encrypted and we don't know how to decrypt them yet. Only a few people have figured out how to do so, among them are our own in-house hackers (smea, Normmatt, ichichfly), scene release groups (BigBlueBox, maybe VENOM), and possibly some hackers who don't frequent GBAtemp. Of course our in-house hackers aren't gonna give everyone the method to pirate even MORE games, so we have to wait for scene groups to (slowly) dump the games.

shit so i just realized that now that 7.2 broke eshop , we may not see anymore eshop dumps for a long time to come unless the teams who are dumping, BBB have a lot of previously downloaded eshop titles on their 4.5 fw 3ds to dump
not like we have been seeing many dumps anyways though
hopefully GW wil get eshop back and then BBB will rush out some new dumps before we lose eshop again
im really hoping for sakura samurai and a bunch of 3d classics

Hmm, I don't understand the meaning of this... All cart roms work, AFAIK, so why list these? They're nothing special. Or you mean these are the roms YOU tested personnally?

Is there a good DAT file for Clrmamepro to check the eshop roms? I'm using the DAT file from DAT-O-Matic to verify 3DS roms, but it seems they don't include the eshop dumps.

Not possible due to the way the 3ds mode exploit works. You break dsiware for Gateway.
