Here pokemon x/y and animal crossing don't work at all with launcher v1.2 and HW v1.3 , tested 3 micro SD card from class 4 to class 10 (samsung and sandisk),
The game boots fine but when it create save data it says that the gamecard was removed ,
I only got one difference with a class8 samsung micro Sd card (formated with 64k allocation unit size) , at the second try the games says me save data is corrupted but when i try to erase it (with the button combo) it crashes again

This update improves Eshop ROM compatibility and supports .3dz ROM .
It is an hardware update, just directly update your MT card（any version） to V1.4. While updating, don’t disconnect the USB cable. This update works with V.12 launcher.dat.
For" * .3ds "game, save file is" *.sav"
For " *.3dz" game, save file is“ *.zav”
For NAND backup games（card2）, the backup data directly stored in the ROM, don’t rename the file extension. If you once rename the file extension, when you enter the game, the backup data will be deleted.

I have a big problem with .3dz roms i can't see the icons so i can't start the games this same problem i have with nand save games like pokemon
i also cant play nand save games with mt card. Im with 1.2sw and 1.4hw, my card is micro sd 32gb class 4. pokemon x and y doesnt even show in the menu to boot, all other games shows and boot fine. i have emunand with 4.5 still cause i not updating to 7.2 at least not yet.. Yoshi's new Island wich is 7.1 fw game works fine so its not a nand firmware issue..

nop, its not trimmed i've tried 2 different dumps with the same results :\ plus my nand sd its 16gb class 4. since the one with came with 3ds was only 2 gb
I suppose you have already checked your msd is genuine, or tried a different SD just to see if that's the issue
both are genuine, ill try to make a new emunand in another sd card to test it out once I get home
No offense to MT-card but they kinda rush their updates. After every update, something breaks, isnt up to par or doesn't work 100% of the time.
1.0hw + 1.0sw = multi rom
Things missing/broke = 90% game compatibility and promised features missing from launch (emunand, region free, etc). Also had crashing problems.
1.1hw + 1.1sw = Caught up to GW 2.0b2 beta in terms of compatibility
1.2 hw + 1.2sw =Nand game saving update and eshop games working.
Things broke/missing = Micro SD card issue which causes animal crossing and Pokemon X/Y games can not be played and 2 eshop games ("HarmoKnight" and "Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies") don't work.
1.3hw = Fixes eshop games that didn't work before.
Things broke/missing = Broken zelda VC games
1.4hw = Eshop ROM compatibility and supports .3dz ROM (online support)

Yeah, I know I'm not going into the"why's" but it's to be expected, I kinda promised not to get to involved in any further discussion on the matter though

The problems with MT-Card and Nand save are all about write speed of your microSD card. I also could not get Pokémon working with MT-Card when trying several cards (some were class 6 and 10). I finally tried a Samsung class 10 16gb card that is really very fast (write speeds 13mb) and it works fine for Pokémon and AC. I don't think the problem is MT-Card per se....I think the problem is they are using fat32 and as Gateway said exFat performs much better (with their card) than fat32. Hopefully MT-Card will implement exFaT support soon and I imagine that would help more cards be compatible.
Also....quit over emphasizing MT-Card updates as 'botched'.......I have both MT and GW and like them both for different reasons. The key element is MT-Card since v1.1 has been stable....I mean so what a few VC/eShop releases have not worked and then they tweaked and they do work....big woop. So far (as we know) MT is the one card that has bricked no one....meanwhile the other filthy clones had the brick fiasco and GW had their own brick-gate.....GW is still the best and will be until someone presents major new features before they do...........still if you can get an MT-Card cheaper or easier then it is still a very good solution and I actually prefer its save method as it is much easier to manage the save files.

How do we go about getting a unique ID/injecting it into a scene release?
