It's an open-source version of Doom. It's already been ported to the DS as DSDoom.

I could go for some SEGA CD & N64. There's been a lot of debate whether the 3DS can even play N64 games... I guess we'll have to wait and see....

No, Smealum wrote a full 3d game. Which is the least of his 3DS accomplishments. The people who actually are going to be releasing homebrew games are still trying to make sense of CTRUlib, and yes tic tac toe and snake are about what you should expect for at least a few more months.

Yeah, and they were debating whether NDS could play SNES or GBA. I bet it'll be done, especially if it was done for the GameCube.

"They" is plural, perhaps you should've said "He" instead. Unless you know something we don't about Smea releasing anything else that's a homebrew game and not just SSSPwn, then the only way you'll find out about what's going on in the homebrew world is reading the homebrew thread.

They is correct. I was also referring to the fact that Gateway now supports it.

So now Gateway has made it easier for people to write homebrew using Smea's hard work...

You're still going to just be playing tic tac toe for a few months, at the very least. Really the only major thing this changes currently is now you can have more than 1 homebrew at a time on your mSD (for the end user, obviously the access to system services is a grail for people ACTUALLY writing software)

If that's all your saying than this thread has no more point than the old "Gateway needs to support pokemon" threads. If it's going to happen it will eventually, if not start learning to write it yourself now.
