I'm thinking of adding a Live XP to the disc, based on Hiren's Live XP. It could just include SpinRite that way, as a pre-installed Live XP app. That would save much space. But that way I could include other useful apps, like MalwareBytes and many other portable utilities.

I'm studying to be an IT technician and my friends like to damage their computer's OS and, basically its always up to me to repair them, I never used any booting tools like this one because they never fit my needs but I will give this one a shot.

MediCat version 6.10.2014 is scheduled for a June 10th release.
(the date is the release version number)

This will include Linux Mint 17, as well as a new Gparted version, and all other ISOs updated to their latest versions, following the Mint 17 release.

I always strip down my windows discs, and re-compile them with only the drivers i need, and all current updates. Then after install, I activate 7 with "Windows Loader" by DAZ, and i'm off to ninite.com to install majority of my apps.
NiNite looks cool.
Thanks for the tip.

If anyone can supply me with a Windows 8 "repair disc" ISO for each architecture (32-bit ad 64-bit) I'll gladly integrate them. (I cannot make one with Windows 8.1, they removed the feature to bootable USB only.)

is there a site to grab new updates as they come out? Also what version of True Image is in this latest release and is it the full version?

It's the latest version of TrueImage at the time I built the ISO. And it's the Home version, so it has the Home features one would expect. If there is a new version when I rebuild the ISO, it will be updated, and the download link in the OP will always have the latest build for download. Updates roll out about every six months; The beginning of June, and beginning of December. All of this info is in the OP, so read carefully next time. ;)

P.S.: My signature will always have the link to this thread, and tell you when the next update will be released. :D

I too have to congratulate you on your work, JayRo. I haven't had much chance to test it out in public (not much dying pc's around here), but it sure looks like a very nifty box of tools. :D

(I used Ultimate Boot CD 4 windows till now. Though it has a HUGE amount of programs, its age really starts to show).

Why thank you sir. It's been a long time in the making, but well worth it. :)

True, it very much is. My overall goal was simplicity, and ease-of-use to the user.

JayRo Just curious, can this have the ability to boot directly into the UEFI/BIOS? I'm currently in need of that since I changed my computer from UEFI to Legacy BIOS and accidentally (And unknowingly) locked myself out of my Windows 8.1 installation with no way back in.

I know this does not affect the usefulness at all, but I think the "Windows Tools" nyan cat looks off not having pixel art drawn on it. May I suggest using the windows icon that was on the windows 95 start button? I think it will fit unformatted.
Great tool by the way!

Could this : > http://www.ubuntu.com/download/desktop/create-a-usb-stick-on-windows

be used to create a bootable USB , as it has several iso options for not linux distros also. ?

I have tried that tool with no success under the GRUB ISO settings. I have also tried YUMI, which is the same tool with more options. I still have yet to test it with Unetbootin though. I'm curious to see the results.

I do not have any computer with an UEFI on it, so I've never been able to experiment with any UEFI tools, but I'll do some digging, research-wise.

Thank you for the suggestion, I might just do that. I was just trying to keep it looking Windows 8-ish, so I might make some bastardized Win95-Win8 hybrid logo. We'll see. but I do want to fix it not being pixelated, it does bother me a bit. ^^;
