ITS GHOST STORY TIME FRIENDS!
I'm creating this topic so everyone can share their experiences with the paranormal, or experiences they've had that make them question if it was Real or not. Mostly because I've been having a couple of weird experiences lately.

So I own an Xbox One, which of course comes with the Kinect. The other day I was recalibrating my Kinect to make sure it would be ready for the upcoming update to improve voice recognition.
Now, there is a feature on the Kinect called "What does Kinect See." It allows you to look at what your Kinect can see on normal camera, or you can change the little camera option to show IR and things like that. I accidentally flipped to the IR camera and looked at the screen, to see a little blue orb thingy above my head. It wasn't my light or anything, nothing was really on. It was just a little glowy thing above me head.

The only reason this creeps me out so bad, is that in my house, I have my Father's Urn, which for those of you who don't know, is a jar that hold a persons ashes. And I keep it in my room. Creeped me the fuck out. It's not the first time I've had experiences like that either.
Sometimes my dogs will randomly react to something as if it's in the house, kind of following something with their eyes or barking at something that isn't there. Really fuckin creepy.

Has anyone else ever had something they think or KNOW is a paranormal experience? Do you believe in paranormal activity? I'm not a man of faith myself, but hey. I've watched enough scary movies to wig myself out a bit so there's no harm in speculating I guess.

Was at my friends house, he wanted to do something in his room and said he will come back in 15 minutes. Playing GTA Online, selling and destroying his cars, I noticed a dark shadow on the wall -- lasting for 10 seconds which faded away. There was NO LIGHT on but GTA Online and his PS3 light on with his cable box.

I was sitting here in me chair, texting me bestie.
And suddenly I looked up in front of me, realizing that...
I just went deaf in me left ear .-.

I was in my grandmas old house years ago, and when no one was home I went into my grandmas room which had another door that lead to the bathroom. In the distance I saw a bar of soap that appeared to be floating, so I backed up a bit in fear, and I swear it started moving slowly towards me. Till this day, I regret not staying at the scene because I will never know what the hell happened. If someone was playing an elaborate prank, they messed with my childhood. Thanks guy!

One time my brother, parents, and I were in the living room. The stereo system was completely off (not in standby, all its lights were off) when suddenly my bro and I heard a song start playing from it. It lasted only for a couple of seconds but my parents didn't hear anything. That was pretty creepy.

This can probably be written off as a young child's imagination but here's the story anyway:
I'd headed to bed at around 8PM and the house was extremely quiet. All of a sudden I begin to hear my name being called from the closet. I had a quick look but there was nothing there and got back to bed and it immediately started again.
The voice sounded so real but I've written it off as imagination.

I used to sleep on a bunk bed. I waked up at night once ...and I couldn't move (have this happened with someone else here in the forums? ...it's a crazy thing ...you kinda wakes up but you can't move doesn't matter how hard you try...)
I could move my eyes though, so when I looked to my side, there was a girl in white dress floating horizontally , facing down..

Something like this, you could say, but with the form of a girl:

I stopped looking to her, and relaxed with eyes shut ...after that, I started to be able to move again ...but when I looked back for her, she was already gone..

I did a face similar to this one

and went back to sleep

That's not a paranormal experience. That's called sleep paralysis. It's a perfectly natural method that prevents us from acting out our dreams with movements. People can wake up in sleep paralysis and/or enter sleep paralysis prior to falling asleep.

Yeah, I know what scientists call it actually... and it's not well explained by them at all. This was the curious part of the story, but the real focus was what happened on my side when I was waked up (and I was actually awake ..was not like a double dream or something else..) There was no transition from sleep to awake ...I just needed to relax to recover movement, but was awake during the entire process

I had several paranormal experiences and still currently get some paranormal experiences. I have most of the stories typed out, but it is very long.

I think when people suffer from sleep paralysis, they see things. If that eases your mind at all.

maybe, if I could accept, based on my experience, that I was actually sleeping and trying to move.. But that was not the case ..and I don't think people get kinda crazy after awaking in/from sleep paralysis and start seeing things from a total lucid not-sleepy state..

Not wanting to burst your bubble or anything though ..I like good explanations that solve questions too. But I can only accept them if they seem plausible after a honest and lucid analysis.. ...and what I can say is that I am still analyzing..

That's fine, I was just making a suggestion. Either way, real or not, that's creepy.

sure, was a good point, thanks.
I read about sleep paralysis a bit after that happened ...and was a bit weird and interesting that the theory didn't explained what really happened for me..
Cause some could say that sleep paralysis was involved in the experience ..but something more was too..

PS: I took a look on sleep paralysis's wiki to remind better about its details, since I reminded myself of this case..
..it involves seeing things, so this are basically all hallucinations that are pointed:

- the incubus (there are many interpretations of this, but you could say that it's a "sense" of somebody over you, or somebody preventing you from move or breath.. ..generally involves a bit of fear, panic and psychic traumas)
- shadows or weird things in peripheral vision, and imaginary "stuff" due to panic (images not well defined visually)
- and intense response of the vigilance system, causing you to interpret things like shadows and objects like monsters and ghosts

...the funny thing is, that for you to experience any of those, it seems that panic, fear or big mental discomfort is necessary.. ...well, in my case, none of those were present (the sleep paralysis experience is kinda normal to me cause has happened some times ...I learned to calm down and wait for my body to respond ...it actually works, and it generally responds back after some secs) ..due to that, I keep calm and not scared at all during this things.
Other interesting thing is that, since I stay calm on this occasions, I was able to look directly to the floating girl and then, glance kinda slowly from her feet to her head (I had to do that to kinda prove myself that I was not fooling myself or something).. ..Then, I closed my eyes, relaxed my muscles until I could move them, opened the eyes again, and she was gone.
(I don't care much about this experiences to say the truth ..since I generally experience a lot different things on this level, they do not bother me much ..not that I don't find the seek for proper understanding interesting..)

So yeah ..that's why I thought sleep paralysis didn't explained it all..

(thought I should write this "PS" because my previous messages didn't seem to explain the case properly to me..)

And now, I'm done talking :P

My mom, step-dad and I were watching The Collection in the living room. Then with my peripheral vision I noticed a black transparent figure so I looked at it directly for a couple of seconds as it passed in front of the tv. I asked them if they had seen it and they did. We continued watching the movie nonchalantly.
