Hacking Gateway + Emunand + Mii Plaza Minigames?

I've updated my Gateway to 2.1 Omega and then to Emunand 7.x.x. I've got Mii Plaza in the emunand, but it doesn't have any of the Streetpass mini games. There's an icon to update the Mii Plaza, but when I use it, it fails to update every time. I tried doing this both in Boot to Gateway mode and Boot to Classic mode.

Does anyone know a way to make this work?

I bought them for 184MXN thats like 15 dollars i like them

Also updating to Omega 2.1 is the best choice

Sorry. I just double checked and I am on 2.1 Omega. The wifi is stable and I used it to update the emunand and visit the Eshop.

Step by step:

The setup:
I boot up the 3ds
Go to settings: Ver 4.4.0-100
Go to Gateway menu and select Boot Gateway mode
In settings, I now see GW3D 7.1.0-16U
I run a connection test: successful

For some reason why I Home back from the settings in Emunand, it sets me back to the normal mode, so I boot to Gateway again.

Now:
Run Mii Plaza
Go to update
I see the progress bar (Preparing, do not turn off system)
Progress bar gets about half way
Error Code: 009-2916. An error has occurred. Please try again later.

you will always get returned to system nand if you go to system settings in emunand, not sure whats happening in your case, have you tried setting emunand up again i got the mii plaza update fine a few weeks back.....not sure if it downloads to the 3DS SD, if thats the case double check you have space for it on there or try reformatting the internal SD

I made some progress! I was able to update once I setup a Nintendo ID and setup it up in Mii Plaza. Then I was able to update Mii Plaza to its latest version.

I've also been able to buy the games. There is a problem though: Error Code 009-2916 again: I can't download the games I bought!

I never got streetpass/homepass working on emunand. I guess it's not supported.

I've GW 2.1 on 3DS XL 4.3E. Successfully switched to the EmuNAND, updated to the latest firmware. When I came into the Mii Plaza it's already have had two preinstalled free games which work just fine. I've updated Mii Plaza & eShop & games still works, then I've bought all street pass games (pack of four with discount) & they all works too. I use homepass on EmuNAND with no issues.

I've had download problems but it was due to the long distance between 3DS & WiFi router.

Every upgrading failure should be considered as the international network speed sucks.
