I wouldn't say it's entirely accurate to say it has been dropped. It's simply been put on hold until after the release of Tales of Hearts R. They still recognize that many people want the DS translation, and seeing as the games will play very differently on a basic level, I doubt the fan translation for Hearts will ever be completely dropped. On a related note, that is a great article for some of the issues with Tales of Hearts R with things that we should really hope they consider fixing before the game comes to the west. It's nice to get another Tales game, but I do get a bit fed up with so much laziness being involved with the handheld versions.

The 360 version is fine. Deal with it. I would much, much rather they never waste resources on the PS3 version (and they wont, because that would be retarded). It would end up selling like crap because 95% of the fandom played it on 360, and then Bamco in their infinite wisdom would think "oh I guess they dun liek Tales gaems anymore." and stop bringing them over.

I didn't even know that was still going. The guy in charge of it was a bit of a tard, though his demo patch of chapter 1 was actually really good.
But considering its been years and years and there has been no real news on his patch...figured it just died.
