i'm trying to play project m on my wii that does not have a working laser anymore, and i have usb loader and all that installed, so i just need to know if i will have to buy a usb or if my sd card will work as a substitute.
Wiiflow will run it from SD.
Depends... if all you're after playing is Wii games (and GC games, channels) then you can't beat usb loader gx imo... and that sounds like all you're after, but if you don't wanna waste any money on a hdd/just want to try out Project M then wiiflow will give you the option to play it from sdso would you say that Wiiflow is better?

Wiiflow is better than gx for me simply because it also has plugins to run the various emulators on, selecting those games in the same way you would Wii/GC etc.... if that's not appealing, and you're after getting a usb anyway, then stick with gx
If you only have an SD card for the moment, you could try with an SDtoUSB adapter.
I have ideas and would like to accept everyone suggestions for USBLoaderGX development, but I'm not working on it a lot. don't expect features to be added, just be happy when they are
Maybe I'll add SD support for wii games.
