I need to get new headphones. My Studio Beats broke recently and I need a new one, which is better.
So what I need it to have is:

-Loud Volume (enough to increase the low 3DS volume high) where you can go higher than the system's limits. :tpi:

-Good Bass. You know, like Subwoofers where you can hear music go boom.

-Audio jack input be the regular ones. ex: 3DS/Wii U

And that's all I need. Budget: $35
I know that's so much to ask for but I'll never know if a headphone could cost cheap. ;o;

Plantronics are a pretty unknow company, but a friend of mine has this one (Plantronic Gamecom 780). It has 7.1 Surround Sound, which is the greatest thing ever in headphones. And the cushions... Ohhhh the lovely cushions it has.

Maybe that this one (Steelseriers 3HV2) is a more interesting choice for you. It is foldable, so you can easily bring it along. It also has a 4-pole cable which allows you to put the microphone and sound cable into a single 3.5mm jack. That way you can get both sound and microphone when using it in a phone or tablet. It is quite small though.
More information can be found here: http://steelseries.com/products/audio/steelseries-3hv2

I don't know if the bass is good with these, mainly since I don't like (hard) bass. They also both have microphones, since it's always a extra to have it. The Steelseries 3HV2 has a retractable microphone, so it isn't in the way when not using it.

my suggestion to NOT PURCHASE

don't get any microsoft phones (they break so fast and hurt the ears)

and don't get a plantations 777 too expensive just for a fake "7.1" which doesn't even work, i thought it was a simulated 7.1 but the only thing it does is make the sound weird
the phones are so big and it makes the "sound heavy" after a bit of use i get headaches...

people also told me Sennheiser is a good brand for headphones, i never tried them, but people say the sound is really high quality

spend some decent money and get some v-moda crossfade m80s (on ear) or m100s (over ear)
I have the M80's and it meets the requirements you mentioned minus the cost part.

I knew it would go to this.
I know spending "decent" money on anything can make you happy (in brief), but I'll definitely be buying another headphone later for about $60 (if that's not enough then I'm out ;A;).
So is there anything else I could get for maybe $50- atleast? I'll take a look at Sennheiser anyway. And I really do not need very good quality, the fake monster beats products which you can get for like $19 on ebay is just fine. Volume and decent bass is enough.

Thanks for the suggestions guys!

Try looking into the Superlux 668b.

Edit: Avoid the Sennheiser HD 202 and 201. I had to use those headphones at my old job until I got my own pair of different headphones. They sound really flat with no redeeming value whatsoever.
You really want a Sennheiser product around the same price range? Get a CX 200, memory is foggy about how the bass is, but it's a much better product.

Sorry man, but $35 isn't going to get you shit in terms of quality.
I got a Fatality headset that had a on-set mic for $30, and it damn-near sounds better than my Sennheisser set. A little flat on the sound stage, but the base in pretty fucking incredible, and has the volume knob on it.

People'll pay $50-100 for a pair of headphones? You people really have that much cash to burn?

And to you who posted: just go online and find something that's within your budget (it was listed in your original comment) and maybe look at customer reviews (Amazon is particularly helpful with this). Don't listen to these buggers; none of them are recommending headphones that fall within your budget. They're slyly marketing these things... instead of trying to find you a pair that costs $35 or less...

"Burn" is subjective, just because you don't care about it doesn't mean it's money wasted.

This is just bad advice. Amazon reviewers would give anything a good score as long as it works. Look at the Skullcandy products. They have terrible audio quality yet have good reviews.

Oh so you didn't even pay attention to the thread and just wanted to ramble? Cool.

Just wondering, why do people overpay $200 on Dr. Dre headphones? Do they outperform other headphones??

I like having a good pair of headphones. I suppose other people's budgets are a bit looser than I am.

Well I've never had any problems with the reviews and I'm a perfectly normal person. Besides, there are always five star scores, one star scores, and a few in between. It's not how many good or bad reviews it has; what matters is the way they were written. Also, you should know that some of the most vocal haters are a minority of the group. But sometimes their advice is actually worth listening to.

He said he wanted a pair of $35 headphones. Nobody here was mentioning such a thing, which is why he raised his bid to $50. But I'm sure all posts in this thread were rendered meaningless after you saw mine.

ATH-M30s, I'm sure you've heard of Audio Technica before, and they make quality headphones. I don't know how much bass you'd actually like, as they are not as much on the boomy side as they are accurate, but I get a pretty decent boom on the walkman app's equalizer. Way better than any Beats/knockoffs. Otherwise, Sennheiser HD-201's are also pretty good, they're around 25$ or so, and they sound like they could be worth maybe 50 dollars or so, I gave mine to my dad because he finds them comfortable.

$35 is around the price range I usually go for, give or take a few bucks. I find that going with something from Sony is usually the best bet. They sound good enough to my ears, and cheap enough that replacing them when they fall apart or stop putting out sound from one ear isn't a huge expense.

I don't have a specific model to recommend, I just go to the local big box store and see what Sonys they have.

Audio Technica has a lot in their M line across many budgets. They all sound great. Monoprice has an amazing set of ear buds for $7, definitely sound better than any ear bud I've ever used.

My personal suggestion is the Koss Portapro. One word of caution: They are open-backed. This means that sound comes out and in the back of the headphone. Not ideal for noisy environments or situations where you have to be silent. That said, they are tiny, comfortable, have a great braided cable, excellent frequency response, very natural sound with a solid soundstage, and a lifetime warranty. Easily, dollar for dollar, the best headphone I've ever heard.
