Hi !

I want to rename my *.3DS ROMs like this:

0650 - Yoshis.New.Island.EUR.3DS-CONTRAST.3DS

Is there a software that can rename ALL my *.3DS like this ? (with CRC verification for exemple ?)

I know of no software that can forge a CRC verification, due to the nature of what a cyclic redundancy check is. I also know of no software that will automatically know which ROM is which and automatically add scene formatting and know what game to call it and know what group released it. You're either asking for something completely impossible, or you might need to make your request more clear.

Actually, all my ROMs are named like this:

ctr-egdp.3DS
ctr-al6f.3DS
ctr-aytp.3DS

etc...etc...

i want to rename it, with:
ID Number - Title - Region- GroupRelease .3DS

He isn't asking to forge them, he's asking to CRC check the ROMs, compare that to a database of known scene roms and then apply the correct name to it.

I truly had no idea this existed because I've never had a need to organize my ROMs in this way. I just download them and leave them alone. Awesome for those that can make use of it though!

And to add, besides using CRC to check against a scene release database (to add the group name), those ROM organizers if made specifically to 3DS and DS image files can read the game and publisher names on the header and obtain its internal code and check those against a database too.
I've tried to use DSROM Organizer however it didn't worked well, but seeing that they released another version I will give it a new try.

evocrc works great (albeit only for windows).
allows userdefined naming rules using wildcards ("%n - %D" for your example), does compression if you want it to, shows the nfos, boxshots and ingame screens.

Good to know, but I fail to see your point. Just because something's been around for ages doesn't mean I should automatically know about it, especially since I personally have no use for these tools.

But if you were saying this for my benefit and not to belittle me, then thank you! :)
