Detective Sebastien Castellanos and his partners are called in to investigate a gruesome mass murder. After witnessing a mysterious force slaughter his fellow officers, Sebastian is ambushed and knocked unconscious.

In an all-new gameplay trailer released today, you’ll get a new look at the horrors he’ll face across terrifying and maddening levels featuring memorable boss encounters. If you’ve followed news on the game, you know that one of the most iconic enemies is Boxman, and this trailer provides a first look at Sebastien’s showdown with him.

Consider me curious. It could still go between another Wet (which I actually did not mind so much) and "see Capcom -- this is how you do it", though seen as it is Mr Mikami (RE creator) making things happen that could also vary.

As neat as it is, that title seems like it's setting us up for a "No, John, you are the demons!" type ending.

List me as cautiously optimistic.

What makes you think that?

...aside from the obscure headaches, that is. And Pyramid Head's little brother. And it taking place in Arkham asylum. And the "am I going crazy?" line. And the repetitive whispered "lose your mind" at the end. Oh...and perhaps the title.

But other than that...naaah. I don't see how this would be a psychological horror game in any way. ;)

Today seems to be horror gaming day...

I loved the first gameplay trailer of the game and now this one just sold it completely to me...

also, a new survival horror game kinda like minecraft...

Looks neat but i'm definitely by no means a fan of horror. Not because it's scary, but moreso because horror just...isn't scary. The only game to ever freak me out is Corpse Party.
But, I would try it if it was available to the glorious PC gaming master race instead of just PS3/4.

Which game are you talking about here? Corpse Party or The Evil Within...?
Either way both are/will be on PC...

Huh really? I did a quick google search and it said "PS3 and PS4". (The Evil Within)
Though that was at 1:30am. Now that I google it again I see it's coming to everything. Whoops.

Neat. I guess I will get to try it.

The game it looks very good I'm not gonna discredit that, but why does it seem with horror movies and horror games that they show the scariest clips, and when you watch or play the actual thing you can't get the same feeling like before?... oh yeah I forgot it's shock not horror. I might be wrong I hope I am lol because 9 times out of 10 it be a bunch of bull, but yet again when I think about it this is Shinji Mikami the father of horror so I know he can't do no wrong lol. I just hate nowadays how they put the most shocking parts over horror abit just sayin that's all.

Though there is truth to what you say if you can build suspense in a 1.50 odd trailer from a game that will be several hours long then you are doing well, doubly so if you manage to make it representative of the final product. I have seen shorts that manage it, though such things are usually built from the ground up for that and the last thing we need is another "built for the trailer" type thing.
