I'm curious of they'll give more news about the supposed RPG elements of the 3DS version.
They discussed being able to take smash bros characters on the go and level them up or something like that, and it wasn't really elaborated on after that.
In fact a lot of smash 3DS news is passively skipped by, so I'm hoping for more info on it.
As for Wii U, and smash in general, I'm certainly curious as to what other characters will be announced.
I'm crossing my fingers for some fire emblem awakening appearances.

I think that they will anounce that Reggie's Body is ready. In other words: Reggie confirmed = Regiis are Hoenn Legendaries = Hoenn confirmed.

My god I hate knowing about games im dying to play sooo long before they are released just makes me upset I cant play it for so long, luckily smash bros melee never gets old so thats helping pass time a bit.

To be honest, I long for the days that companies just revealed release dates. Now they're announcing an announcement that MAY include the only thing worth knowing.
Earlier, it was stupid that nintendo decided to skip smash bros movies because it would be leaked to youtube, thus spoiling the surprise. Now the stupidity reaches new heights that they're going to spoil all the surprises themselves.

I'd also like to see a new costume concept. Characters that would otherwise be clones of existing characters should be assigned to that player as an alternative costume, giving them the same moveset.
Maybe then, people whining for Princess Daisy may be happy when you can actually just costume-swap Peach into an actual Daisy, not just a palette swap.

100% likely there will be online play. Why would they leave that out? That's like a main selling point is to play multiplayer.
I usually don't care about the games Nintendo brings to their Directs but I'm actually interested in SSB.
They could make the Direct one week earlier and announce Digimon to be playable characters in the game. That would be a hilarious April fools Joke.
I hope this is really worth watching. If it's going to be only a announcement of a character + 1/2 new features and release date than that will be poor.

I gotta sorta agree, it is a bit underwhelming. I mean, I'm glad that they chose Smash Bros. out of anything to be given a real focus on. But with no Nintendo Direct last month, and the one this month focusing on only one game, makes me feel like they have nothing to show us anymore.
I'm just hoping for them to announce a summer release date and some new Fire Emblem characters; preferably from Awakening but I'd still like to see some FE4 characters. Seems likely that someone from Street Fighter or Resident Evil will be included even if it's not announced this week; there's been talk of Capcom characters, but the official site lists Capcom Co., Ltd in the character copyrights line, and I don't believe any currently announced characters are co-owned by Capcom.
Also, given the amount of Nintendo-exclusive Shin Megami Tensei games in the last few years, the popularity of SMT IV, and the fact that SMTxFE needs as much promotion as it can get if it hasn't been cancelled, I'd like to see Flynn get a spot in the game - preferably with the other samurai assisting in the final smash just for the sake of shouting their cheesy battle lines. It's something I could certainly see happening if the Wii U and 3DS versions actually end up having even minor differences in their rosters.
