Hacking Where to get a firmware 4.5 or below 3DS XL?

Received it just a few days ago, fast shipping and didn't get stuck in customs.

i went into my local CEX and GAME and just said bluntly, im looking for a second hand 3ds between firmwire 4.0 and 4.5 lol. Thgey both went through all their consoles.

Cex had updated all their 3ds's and Game only had 1 on the firmware i needed, it was it great condition apart from 3 scratches on the top screen, not huge but meh, i dont care really.

That's just what I did m8 and picked up an Aqua Blue 3DS from CEX and also a limited Mario 3DS XL from Game both local to me and both in mint condition, no scratches boxed and both on 4.5.0/4.3.0! I swapped my other Aqua Blue one in which was on 6.3.0 and paid an extra £10.00 on top for the swap, happy days !!!.​

Also yes your rite CEX do update all there consoles on check up now but luckily the Aqua Blue one must of slipped through the checking process for sale! Game do as well apparently but I was very lucky in that shop as well. I doubt I would come across those deals again. All stores like CEX & Game around the UK have cottoned on to this and now have been told and are updating all 3DS's that come in second hand, so the sales team told me in my local CEX & Game stores! You might be very lucky but I doubt that now. I even emailed both stores to begin with but they would not even return an email to me about it, I don't think they liked what I was asking for?, they probably researched my question in a cloud of wandering and found out exactly why

It could be you got a repacked unit, someone returned it and amazon repacked it.

126 is for USA, 1153 is the highest you can get for Europe. So you are well above it.

Thinking about getting this myself. My current 4.5FW has a horrible yellow tint and i want to replace it.

If it ISNT 4.5 then im sure I could still sell it on ebay for £80+ and not risk losing any money on it.

The 3DS and 3DS XL are different experiences.
