incorrect, knowing that evo = gateway its almost certain that they would include some kind of bricking code to stop their old user base from simply downloading evo firmware and their new launcher.dat and thus forcing everyone to buy their new 2.0 final flash cart. I've already got my money ready, you should join me. at the end of the day you either choose to support evo or the chinese mafia, the choice is yours phanteon.

evo code won't work on gateway because they had to make new hardware. That is why they had to ditch it and make a new card and pretend to be someone else. Gateway hardware isn't compatible with NAND saving and multirom

That's why I'm a bit surprised by it. But I'm guessing it only runs unsigned content from the cartridge slot, therefore you still need a flashcart.
