Sorry if this is the wrong forum to ask but I Need some help with this game. I havent played it in a while(I only have about 5 grand in my account so I still live in a tent LOL) I want to buy a net and a fishing rod(Maybe a shovel too) so that I can collect money fast so I can pay off what I owe but when I go talk to Isabelle she doesnt mention anything about purchasing anything, just asks "Advice for living here, citizen satisfaction, town tune, town flag, problematic citizens, and nothing" and when I go to the nook store there is nothing mentioned about buying anything either..so would really appreciate any help..I am new to this game so its really frustrating that I cant figure this out. Thanks

Keep talking to Isabelle and ask for her advice, she'll give you a net and other tools.

Isabelle will give you either a Fishing Rod or Net, depending on what you choose. You have to listen to all her advice, and afterwards, she'll give you a watering can. Nooks store will have different items each day, so check back the next day to see what tools he has for sale. He sells a shovel and rod/net each day, iirc.

Hi thanks so much for your help that did the trick and I have been working on my town but now I am stuck in another area, dont know if its something with the game or something Im doing wrong..I went to Tom's Nook to upgrade my house because right now its just so darn tiny and he said it will cost me around 98,000 bells, I have a little over 78,000 bells right now..so I clicked OK and he said it will be ready for tomorrow morning..so I went next door to the post office to make a loan deposit but it only gives me three options "Deposit" "Withdrawal" and "cancel" so Im not sure which one Im supposed to click..I talked to my friend online who has the same game and he said I should be seeing something about paying off loan deposit..I saved the game and got out and came back in and I still see the same thing so not sure what is going on..I had already paid off the loan for the house Tom already said so but the house is just so tiny I think its 4x4 I think

So i was sucking then i planted apples and sold a bunch of fish, and fossils. Also pay the house off get the island you can make like 35k in an hour collecting bannanas and what not.

You can make a lot more than that in a hour. Once you get the island unlocked, best way to generate cash is to rip out all the regular trees on the island and grow a bunch of palm trees on the beaches all the way around. Removing the regular trees will force the program to keep up the bug quota by placing more giant beetles on the palm trees. Then work on your bug catching skills. I've come back to my town with approx. 350k worth of bugs and sharks, i.e. basket full of only the highest value stuff, on many warm summer nights.

I also planted a bunch of lychee and lemons and crap but what your saying is only have beach plants and cut all the fruit and pines? and how do i rip out trees i been planting em.

this game bores me at times then at some i play for like 5 hours.

Only rip out the regular trees on the island. But before you do that, if you haven't already done so, gather some of the fruit growing on the island to take back to your town to plant. In your town you want a nice mix of fruit trees, pine trees, and palms on the beaches. But on the island, if you plant ONLY palm trees on the beaches and no regular trees or shrubs on the grass, you'll get LOTS more giant beetles.

Edit: to remove a grown tree, first chop it down with an axe (you can get this on the island from the 'roid guy who lends stuff) and then dig up the stump with the shovel.
