EDIT: Also there's a case for that, I have a 3DS XL case with 3 cartridge slots which I keep my fav 3DS games, Cave Story, Pokemon Y and a DS game Pokemon Soul Silver, I had Tetris 3DS but I bought the eShop version to prevent another cartridge of traveling with me, I bet you want that multirom feature for the free gaemz, because there's alternative measures to carry your cartridges.

there is a android app i think that lets you write roms to a micro SD to use with gateway so if you have a android phone and enough free space you can switch about games at will with the 1 sd

Please for the love of god. I'm not fond of people who pirate everything just because they can but going "omg you filthy pirate" because someone wants multirom seems a bit ridiculous. I have about 10 cartridges and while I could carry them around, sure, multirom would be more convenient, especially if you like having the physical games (because collector or just preference or whatever).

I'm not against piracy mind you, but if there's an easy way to carry cartridges, why beating up the dead horse for it?
I carry my cartridges inside my 3DS case, I'm not here, sitting on my chair waiting for multi rom to come out to have my backups in one place, yes I know its better but still.

You could always buy Pokeymans from the eshop.

I don't say this to in any way be all "eww dirty pirate" I could not care less if you want to pirate, it's just to tell you a way you can play the game you ask about without carrying a cart around with you.

If you really need multi-rom because you lose so many cartridges there's MT-card. Two lost games and you've already paid it off.

Gateway's solution is very very close, at least that's what they say. It should also offer Pokemon X/Y support.

TL;DR version of elaboration. GW requires you to flash roms to mSD card using a program on PC. There is an android app that does the same and allows you to flash roms to mSD cards on the fly.
