Gaming Why is the PSVita so rubbish?

Hi,

I bought a 3G PSVita when they first came out I had it on pre-order from Amazon.co.uk and paid about £280.00p for it also a 16GB Sony PSVita memory card and Uncharted Golden Abyss at a further £80.24p so altogether it came too £360.24p and now I feel so very ripped off!!!. Since the arrival which was back in approx January 2012 there has been about 5 decent games overall in my opinion:- Call of Duty Black Ops Declassified, Unit 13, Killzone Mercenary, Uncharterd Golden Abyss, and Little Big Planet and that's it as far as I am concerned, every other game is not good or just plain rubbish and I have Googled future releases but I don't see anything even worth getting excited about and also the 3G is really poor!. So will the PSVita get any better or is it just doomed?. As far as comparing it too the 3DS there is just no comparison I use my 3DS all the time I never use my PSVita its just gathering alot of dust! What do other members think about there PSVita's and do you fell ripped off like me?

I feel the complete oposite. I got my 3ds and played mario kart 7 for about 70-80 hours, now i don't use it. But my vita has got about 100+ hours in terraria, about 15-25 hours in olliolli, about 10 hours in Playstation all-stars battle royal. I still have to complete Tearaway. Hell I don't think i'll put it down when borderlands 2 comes out (presuming it's a good port).

Yeah I have seen Borderlands 2 but its not like the one on 360 its some sort of online card shooter not a great FPS like the 360 was! It does not really look good to me.

I feel the opposite. I play my Vita much more than my 3DS. I also have a much bigger list of games for Vita than 3DS this year.
Only thing I want this year on 3DS is Persona Q.

i like my vita, there are many good game are for it (and many more are coming)

some might be ports of consoles game, but be able to play them anywhere is nice
there are many good ps1/psp/psn games you can get so new game might not be be there for you, but there are many older game better the new game coming out

there are many game yet to be shown or announced

Toukiden: The Age of Demons is a good game
ys memories of celceta is good as well
disgaea 3
disgaea 4 (come latter)
FFX/FFX-2
spelunky is good
Deception IV: Blood Tiesax look like it may be fun


i have a 3g vita
i do not even use 3g
i have it just in case i want to use it at some point

I could think of so many games of the top of my head that are excellent for the 3DS but then I go and think about the PSVita games and I am stumped apart from a select few!

The only 3DS exclusives that I can think of is Persona Q, Kirby, and SSB.

I have a 3DS for a year and a half and haven't seen a decent game till now, all of the games that i played were decent ( MK7 and MH3U were good thou)
And we have piss poor 3rd party support here, SMT IV, RF4 and maybe more games won't come here like Persona Q.
Next to that we wait about a year for games to come here.

If i could change my 3DS for a Vita i would do it right away.

You're not appealing to his demographic, the games you listed are good, but not to his taste. He listed 5 games that he liked, all 5 games only appeal to a western demographic. From the information he's given, he doesn't want J-RPG's or Rythme games, he wants more action-packed games (pew pew pew). And no, I'm of no help in that regard either.

Vita is not rubbish, its awesome. Not many games but has a few good ones already, the console itself is TONS better than the 3DS and any other handheld avalible, plays videos/music, internet on it is excellent. Also the PSN store has a superb collection of old games you can download. Only downside is the expencive specific memory cards. Everything else about it is great!

Ohh, haven't read his whole post.

Handhelds do not get much of pew pew's, i didn't even thought it will get ;o
But there's one pew pew coming out, Borderlands 2.

None of those games are any good really and are not strong titles for the Vita, bh with yourself?. The 3DS has got mega good strong titles going for it:- Mario Kart 7, Luigis Mansion 2, Paper Mario Sticker Star, Super Mario 3D Land, New Super Mario Bros 2, Resident Evil Mercenaries and Revelations, Zelda Ocarnia of Time and Link Between Worlds, Pokemon X/Y, Fire Emblem, Animal Crossing, Donkey Kong... m8 the list just goes on and on and on, there are so many strong titles the 3DS has that the Vita just lacks!
