Playstation Now, if you aren't in the know, is Sony's upcoming streaming service. Harvested from the husk of Gaikai, the service will allow players to stream titles straight to their PS4, PS3, and Vita (or mobile devices, if that's how you roll).

Sony has begun beta testing the service, and it seems that the list of available titles has found its way online.

First Party:
  • Killzone 3
  • Puppeteer
  • Shadow of the Colossus
Third Party:
  • Papo & Yo
  • Darksiders II
  • MX vs. ATV: Alive
  • Disgaea 4
  • Ninja Gaiden 3
  • Shatter
:arrow:GearNuke

Keep in mind that this is in no way, shape, or form reflective of what will be available on the final Playstation Now service. That will come, presumably, Playstation Later.

The beta is currently PS3 only. If you're interested, you can apply here and hope for the best.

Where's Uncharted and Last of Us? These two games alone would make its launch a huge success.

And as for 3rd party, Ninja Gaiden 3 really? So much better games out there than NG3.

Edit: GTA V on PS4's Now service would completely claim to be the first "next-gen" (now current-gen) to have GTA V available and thus far make Xbox One fanboys jealous. :P

nice to see the likes of Ninja Gaiden 3 being chucked in there, although I haven't played the game I would guess it would be a good test for games that require quick actions and seeing how well the streaming works

It would be so kickass if the service could just launch with the entire library available. But I'm sure there are all sorts of reasons why that doesn't happen with things like this

The list isn't much yet, but then again, what would you expect. Probably more will be added once the service gets more testing. Now if only they added PS+ PS3 content for members on the service without extra costs.. One can only hope :toot:

I am one of the people who got the invite to be a beta tester. No updates since I registered, but I am hoping to hear something this week. I'll report back on what I find, and about the entire experience once the beta actually goes live. Can't wait.

America is first. Canada is sometime later this year.

It seems that they chose games from a variety of genres for beta testing. Makes sense, as imagine that some games work better streamed than others (FPS vs RPG).
