First rule of video game news: VGChatz doesn't matter. They are irrelevant.

There won't be much to translate and all there is that mediocre looking Yoshi Island game and the "yeah I'll get the Wii U version" Smash Bros. Nintendo have been showing this on their direct for Europe and NA VERY recently...it'll be out be out before June this year.

Nintendo are a Japanese company. Their games are mostly made in Japan first. Japanese market means a lot to them. Please don't post before looking elsewhere. VGchartz isn't a reliable source of information. You have no reason to be pissed. Calm the fuck down.

1. There is a ETA. 2014. As said on their own site. They wouldn't put "2014" unless they know it'll be releasing in 2014. Nintendo would never give a date, month or year unless they know it is out in that time, don't you know Nintendo by now?

2. It's not Japanese only...it's on their OWN site. It was featured on the NA & Europe Nintendo Direct...Japanese only games NEVER get featured on NA or Europe Nintendo direct. Games that get shown on NA & Europe's Nintendo direct ARE COMING OUT IN NA & EUROPE THIS YEAR!

The game is complete, this isn't Zelda or Smash Bros where it's still in development, it's complete.

And in case you're brain still cannot believe this, the President of Nintendo says in ENGLISH that it'll be out in 2014. If he meant "only in Japan" this JAPANESE MAN wouldn't have said "this is out in 2014" in a NA & Europe Nintendo direct.

also, even the Nintendo site lists it as 2014
and pretty sure Wikipedia got that date from a official announcement as they have nothing to gain from random guesses

A game can be fully translated and ready for release now, none of this is important. What is important is the RIGHT time it can be released. You see, there are other factors to think of "can we give good enough time to market this now, or later", "Are their other 3DS games or other games on other consoles that'll that overshadow this release", "do we have the right amount of resources to make this count". and so on.

People seem to think that releasing a game is as simple as "it's done, lets release it".
It is not.
There are many factors to consider, I understand you are impatient, you want to play it now but Nintendo on the other hand have invested money into the development of this game and to recoup this money and to get the best response and sales they themselves have to make sure that a game is released at the right time to ensure the best success. Releasing a game at the wrong time could mean the worse kind of sales, not everyone is like you and creaming over buying this right now. What may be a good time to release a game in Japan, may not be a good time to release elsewhere...have you seen many big games released right now? No, reason...it's not a good time to release games in the West right now.
