I am trying to install Wii Resort to USB for loading and saving the laser.

But it just get stuck at some point (it seems to be very early, not sure exactly when, but around 1% if i remember correctly).

I have tried with 2 applications, i think it was Wiiflow and USB Loader GX.

I first thought the Disc was bad, but that shouldn't be the case, as the game can be played just fine.
Can't find anything when searching on it either.

So help is appreciated.

I looked, it get stuck at 1.85 % with USB Loader GX.
I don't seem to be able to Cancel either, but it doesn't freeze, it's like i press Cancel, and it's waiting for something, as i can move the wiimote and all that.

I rather not use Clean Rip as i don't want to "bypass" the problem, i want to solve it.

EDIT: I used USB Loader GX , Not Wiiflow as i stated*

I use CFG Loader to install disc games. Try it out.

But shouldn't GX or Wiiflow just work, i mean, aren't the the most, Advanced ones?

But i am trying Clean Rip now just to see if it actually work, and it seems to work, it goes far beyond 1.85%.
Though i am not sure if it does a 1:1 rip, i would like it to be as little as possible, not wasting empty space.

I've never used them, because CFG does everything they already do, and way, way more. It even comes with a Windows GUI to config the app to your liking before you install it to your SD card.

Well i find GX to be my favorite, CFG seems to old, it hasn't been updated for a year from what i can see.

Also i only use USB, perhaps that's the issue?

And well the Clean Rip does seem to be, hit or miss, it can boot, sometimes not, and often i get black screen after choosing "Resort/Sport", not sure if that's normal.

the original Configurable USB Loader is not updated for a long time, true

but there's a modded version made by some people that also updates Wiiflow, this modded version add new features, and still recieve updates time to time, not as the same frequency like USB Loader GX and Wiiflow, but still recieve...

you can download the original CFG usb loader and replace the boot.dol for the modded version found here:
https://code.google.com/p/cfg-loader-mod/

i ripped all my games with CFG, never tried wiiflow or usb loader gx, so i don't know what is causing the problem for you as you have d2x

As for clean rip, yes it makes an 1:1 Iso, but you can plug your HDD on your PC and use Wii Backup Manager to scrub the ISO and save some space
