Hacking r4i 3ds gold card - game ROM not appearing

I just received my r4i 3ds gold card. copied Wood_R4iGold_V1.64 and copied some game with .3ds extension. But when i click on sd card i am not seeing the game file. Please help .

It has to be a R4i 3DS Gold Deluxe on a 3DS with 4.5.

Did you get the DELUXE card? If you only have one card, you ordered the DS flashcart which can't play 3DS games. You should have 2 cards.

That is what i bought. :-( .. I worst thing is I waited for this almost a month.. can some one point out the proper r4 card to play 3ds and ds games and also best place to buy (with short time frame)

Leave it to clones to make things more complicated than they should be.

Do you have a 3DS with firmware 4.5.0-10? If so, one of these: Gateway 3DS

No, I updated to 7.1.0-14U since i thought i bought the correct card. Can I still use this card to play DS games ( .nds files)?

I just tested with DS games (NDS) and that works fine. little relief. I did not want to disappoint my son... I have to shop for the 3ds DELUXE card. any better place to buy?

The deluxe card only works on firmware 4.1-4.5. If you're any higher than that you can't play 3DS games right now.

If what you said above is true, don't even bother looking for a flashcard to play 3DS games they only work on 4.1-4.5 firmware.
