Hacking GC games not loading with Configurable USB Loader, black screen

I've been looking for the answer for a while now and I haven't been able to find a good solution. My Wii can't run GC games from CFG.

What I have installed so far is: IOS236, d2x, Configurable USB Loader version cfg70modr65 and DIOS-MIOS v2.10. Games have been compressed using DiscEx, I've been trying with both Luigi's Mansion and Twilight Princess, both are detected by CFG and can even download covers but when I go to play them, they load and the screen goes black, staying like that. I wait for a whole minute but after no response I turn off the console.

I'm using an Adata 500GB HDD, it's already formatted, is assigned as primary and active too, 32bits and FAT32 of course, but I've seen it has to be applied as first too, no idea how to do that and not sure if it's already done. Also the guide I used asked me to change DML version to DM in CFG's System menu but it doesn't appear, I assume it's already set as default with the latest versions. I've been looking around for solutions but so far I haven't been able to fix this error.

I was unable to find a solution after hours of browsing internet so I finally decided to create an account here since most of my questions had been answered in this place. Any help will be appreciated.

Have you tried any other game? The compatibility list for the dios mios is no actually helpful, the real dios mios can give different results. I have played some games that were incompatible without any hicups for a few hours and got black screens from those that are supposed to work.

If you have time, could you try to play Super Smash Bros Melee or Super Mario Sunshine (they should work regardless of the version you use). If you can't get any of them to work then we can look for a solution.

Bumping and posting first result.

I tried with Super Mario Sunshine. Same, black screen when it loads, not even the DIOS MIOS screen. I tried using now GameCubeISO compress, same result. I'll be checking with Smash too but honestly I fear the same thing will happen.

EDIT: Nope. Nothing. Same, I go to CFG, select the GC game, select play and when it loads and the screen turns black, it stays like that, no DIOS MIOS, no nothing.

I'm sure I did something wrong or at least I'm missing something. The whole modding process had been perfect until this point.

after installing diosmios 2.10 real nand..wad file , do you need d2x-v10 ? ive now d2x-v6-final?

if i install diosmios wad file can i use wiiremote and play wii games using the same ios 249 ?

I'm having the same exact issue as sevenheaven i have the most updated version of DM and am using d2xciosv9 in ios249 and 250, I have a FAT32 format flash that is on the compatibility list in 32k clusters, i have properly formatted my games using several different tools and placed them properly into the usb directory, wiiflow, usbcfg, and usbgx detect my gc games however when i attempt to load them i get a black screen, i have followed several tutorials some of which being on this site, and i have asked in several places with no straight answer to what im doing wrong. Should i post a syscheck? What are the reason's i might get these symptoms? Am i supposed to see a DIOS MIOS logo?( i just get black screen immediately upon loading) Does it matter if certain priiloader hacks are enabled as i have been unable to navigate priiloader despite having synced remotes and a gc controller? I too have signed up here just to get an answer, i hope someone can help us, i desperately need to play zelda and apparently wind waker is no longer sold anywhere.

I just get a black screen (no DIOS MIOS splash screen)

Chances are high that your USB2IDE device isn't supported.

• Assure that your HDD is formatted with FAT32, no other FS is supported.
• Only cluster sizes 32KB or less are supported.
• Only 2TB drives or less are supported.
• The FAT32 partition MUST be the first primaly partition on the HDD, otherwise it will not work.
• If all the above are ok try another USB2IDE device or wait for an update.

Chances are high that your USB2IDE device isn't supported.

I did everything listed, and my drive according to the list provided here: http://wiki.gbatemp.net/wiki/USB_Devices_Compatibility_List#32GB is supported (i have the PNY attache 32g). I will try a different device when i can get my hands on one I'll also try off of my sdhc with DML. I have not enabled any priilooader hacks however including no disc, is that required? Also are there any options in any of the usb loaders to enable no disc? on a side note would anyone know why my GC controllers that i know work don't respond in the priiloader menu?
