Hacking wii not shutting down properly, suggestions?

hello all, Im new to the scene and have a softmodded wii and up until lately i noticed that when i shut down the wii it doesn't shut down properly. it displays a yellowish light instead of the usual red light, the only way to fully shut it down is to hold down the power button. am i doing something wrong, or something in the softmod not allowing it to shut down fully?

Deactvate Wiiconect24

go into the settings and select WiiConnect24 -> Standby Connection

Then Click No, then select OK/Save to confirm
