Hacking MT-Card to be released in 3 days

Im hyped for it. Will be waiting for reviews once it comes out to make sure there aren't any defective carts. Very glad I decided to hold of GW. Does anyone know if reviews are out for it?

They're being sold on 3ds-flashcart right now, although I don't know if you'd have to wait three days for it to be shipped or what the deal is there. Personally, one little video isn't going to convince me to drop $75 on something. I bought the GW only recently because it has a lot of positive reviews from larger sites and users, as well as having the assurance that they do their own work. We won't know if the MT card is a clone until GW releases 2.0, and if that does turn out to be the case, I'm going to feel sorry for anyone who had jumped the gun and spent that kind of money on just another clone.

GW-related cynicism aside, the software and hardware features of the MT do look good, although the insides of the card look fairly shoddy.

Because accounts that appear out of nowhere advertising what's sure to be another GW copycat is suspicious. You don't exactly have a long, established history here as a member that would make a person think otherwise.

Yeah I can see how it could appear like that. But consider (as I said) I am from the U.S. and am speaking in perfect English. If I was from China, of course this post would be a major red flag (lol pun not intended?). I just saw there was no thread discussing the imminent release of the cart and figured I'd try to inform those unaware, that's all. Why am I not surprised to see GW fanboys immediately accuse me of being a shill (hypocritically, they are the ones doing all the GW shilling)?

Yeah I'd rather wait a bit before biting the bullet. I don't believe it is a clone, as it it supports features unavailable to GW. It may however borrow upon the source and improve on it, which is totally encouraged in many dev circles.

You knew that there was a thread about this cart already. Making threads about new firmwares is understandable, but in your case this is pure advertisement.

first of all i hate the word fanboy or gwboy, just because people are comparing stuff doesnt make them fanboys ( they just vget their facts straid). especially from people like you, who in every post is calling the word gw fanboy or talking negative about gw.

besides that. it is suspicious that you just created an account, and your post shows youre only promoting mt card, which isnt ou yet. (which makes you a fanboy bssed on emotions, or sobody who want to get high sakef for the mt card)

but dont worry, if it turns out the mt card is working fine, and no clone of gw i will buy it.

i bet Gateway will just steal there launcher.dat and change it there code so rarther than the button on the card press to change the rom it uses the L and R buttons or something

Yeah I did know there was a thread on it, but why should that discourage someone for making a thread dedicated to the release of a card? By your interpretation, the other thread informing everyone about it would also be considered an advertisement. What website did I link to that was already selling it? I linked to its primary website as proof that its being released soon. This is exactly what I hate. If it isn't GW, it isnt acceptable right? Absolutely ridiculous that I'm being criticized from trying to inform fellow users.

Nothing wrong with comparing the card, its just that many GW supporters automatically disregard it as a clone when they themselves don't even know for sure. Its pure ignorance. I wish I didn't have to call people out on being GW fanboys but it is so bad here, thats all there is. Too me it seems like childish insecuirty because they spent money on a product they fear will become inferior (didn't the GW team say multi rom support can't be achieved?). Yes my account is new (created 19 days ago) but I'd been lurking for at least a month. I finally made an account due to all the GW bs I was seeing around here.

and if that happens im pretty certain clones will be able to copy it also.

Thanks OP for the thread. I don't think you are a shill. Of course the slightly more rabid supporters of Gateway (which I have 2 of by the way - carts not rabid supporters) will now accuse me of being one as well. I will keep an eye on the new carts as they come out and will support a new one if it offers a superior feature set.

If it turns out that the MT card or any other new one has working, worthwhile features that Gateway is unable to match then I am sure most of the 'Gateboys' will jump to the better carts when finances permit and will probably then start whining about how Gateway never delivered the product they paid for.

I still have an old DS XTREME cart floating around somewhere and it too had its fair share of die-hard rabid, attack anything else, fanboys.
