Do you think we will ever see a Zelda MMO game in our lifetime?

How would that work? Zelda games are all about figuring out puzzles and exploring dungeons. An online co-op adventure like Four Swords I could sort of see happening, but a full blown MMO? You'd probably have better chances with Pokemon. I can't really think of any other Nintendo franchises that would work as an MMO, really... except Kid Icarus Uprising maybe. An MMO of that could be pretty awesome.

No.

But if there were one, it would have to be some sort of spinoff. They'd never try to pass something like that as a main game in the franchise.

Officially, I doubt it. Nintendo have never been one for MMOs and if they were to attempt something like that I doubt it would be using one of their most popular franchises.
Unofficially there have been several attempts and there was one I tried that was actually quite fun and had a lot of potential though a very incomplete overworld that wasn't very big, without a whole lot to do besides running around killing mobs and other players. Sadly the project shut down.
The Four Swords Adventures style of gameplay would work very well for this, I think.

I think someone might make one but it WONT be nintendo who makes it. Sort of like how there are a few unofficial pokemon mmo's that exist already

his not in charge anymore

He may not be directly in charge of the series, but he has a lot of influence within the company.

edit: and I didn't mean it in an "over my dead body" kind of way, as much as I feel that it's just not something that would get very far in the company while they still have people like him leading them. Who knows what the future holds in 30 years or so, though? I plan on my lifetime being long, and I have no idea what will become of Nintendo when Miyamoto is no longer around.

Strangely back in the 90s on windows 98 I played a mmo that was kinda like link to the past (a shit version, same type of graphics) had a few puzzles, it also had a couple other servers that were drasticly different (ppl had guns and stuff). No idea what the name was, everyone just used to kill each other all day.

the next wiiu zelda is rumored to be open world so could be mmo?
The first NES Zelda was probably the most open in term of gameplay.
It was like, "BAM! Her you are, figure shit out by yourself!"
I loved it, and stil do.

I also love Zelda 2, really hardcore in terms of gameplay.
