Pokemon X and Y managed to hold my attention with the online features. Mystery Dungeon 3D makes me sad. Fire Emblem was really nice, but my vote has to go to New Leaf. 600+ hours clocked, and I'm not even done yet.

I got mh3 with my black 3ds but the game feels kinda boring to play alone so far. It's feels like it's made for co-op.
Also on XL the text is horrible to read. To small font on a low ress screen :S

Yeah I agree. MH3 would have been super if they had online multiplayer. All it has is local multiplayer.

I played MH on my PSP and I must say that the experience seems to be just as good, MH is a grinding series made much more enjoyable with friends.

Zelda, pokemon and fire emblem are good, havent played any of the three yet, but i voted for pokemon because the fire emblem got way to much pay to win stuff

They're all great games, and I was torn between a few on the list. It just shows what a great platform the 3DS is.

If buying dlc become a mainstream, more games will be releases without additional/bonus/extra content that normally will comes with the game. They will just release it later and call it dlc with a heavy price tag. Before, dlc was known as Expansion which provide lots of content with a reasonable price tag. Knowing that the developers have a way to add something later to the game. They wont rush to make sure that the initial game have the feature/stuff that were planned, instead they will scrap the unfinished project from the main game and offer as dlc if the deadline is near.

Except Nintendo hasn't done that. Talking about Fire Emblem specify, it's a full game and you can beat it without DLC.

excluding Pokemon Mystery dungeon 3d and Soul Hackers, these are pretty much the best games on the 3ds this year.
Shin Megami Tensei IV, Fire Emblem Awakening and Pokemon Y/X are my favorites though.
