im glad you joined up in helping me about the project, i was wondering if all the people translating the Story, could gather up, and pm me, so we could concentrate our powers on one thing instead of just redoing the same thing only in different ways and results.

Thank you.

Well, since I'm probably the only member that is translating the story at the moment, and since I've been busy lately, the answer here would have to be no; however, since I don't know hardly any japanese (I'm taking free lessons lately, however :teach: ) the translation part is hardly going well...

Is there any way to download this patch at it's current state? I don't mind not having the story.

here's your answer. :P Speaking of which, I just got a PSP, and playing the game in Japanese is a pain, considering that I don't know what each button does, or what anything says! So, in order to better translate, I'll need to see the story text while at the same time viewing the same text in-game. So, I think that allowing the people translating the game access to the current translation's progress, and ONLY those people, is an efficient idea. I can translate stuff relating to a story best when I can see what the text is describing.

Edit: and for the record, since I cannot even navigate the menus, I cannot even access the story.

Edit2: disregard that. I'm using omarrrio's old patch, so navigating the menus is no longer a problem. Translation is going full steam ahead. :)

Wow I thought the project was dead long ago, ¡Esto es excelente!
I would like to help to translate the texts of the cards to Spanish, ya que las entregas anteriores de esta saga me gustaron mucho.
Espero tu respuesta, Thank you for everything.

Oh yeah! I could also help with Spanish. I was born and raised in Mexico, and took and passed AP Spanish with a 5 last year. Never really modified game data such as text, but I'm sure it is something I can easily learn as I am quite proficient with computers.

I have the first 38 strings of text translated. ._. All that was done in about 30 minutes of free time over my Thanksgiving holiday. I'm back to being busy now, but once I get off break I'll take a crack at it some more.

Translating's a lot easier now that I put the game on my PSP for context.

Still going on. The prologue to the story is done, and I'm just a little ways into Yusei's second story event (roughly 300 strings translated out of 38,000)
