Crash is back!? That is the biggest shocker here!!
Damn, people actually went out and bought the PS4? I guess I was wrong to assume everyone understood it is an overpriced underpowered PC.
When will people learn to stop comparing PC to console? You cannot compare apple to orange. Console does not need to be as powerful as a gaming PC.Damn, people actually went out and bought the PS4? I guess I was wrong to assume everyone understood it is an overpriced underpowered PC.
Maybe they did because it isn't? The used architecture doesn't automatically make it a PC.Damn, people actually went out and bought the PS4? I guess I was wrong to assume everyone understood it is an overpriced underpowered PC.
The only problem is that there are no exact numbers. In all likelihood, it's higher than the estimated 4000 Sony would have expected to have hardware defects out of 1 million, but it's likely not a substantial number either. The bad just tends to be louder than the good so that, say it was only 1% of all PS4's that came with hardware issues during launch: those 10,000 people would have a much bigger impact on how we see the number of faulty systems (ie: we would likely perceive the number as much higher than that 10k) than the 990,000 that have systems that work perfectly fine. There has been a lot of reports of system defects and even rumours of poor workmanship and even sabotage in certain factories.
This has been an unparamounted system launch, a million sales in America alone in 24 hours, to actually satisfy that demand successfully may've meant a lot of strain on the production process, resulting in rushed products. Usually when a system launches you are lucky if you are able to get a hold of a system.
Wait, then the iPhone and the Nexus 5 aren't both smartphones? The architecture is the same, they do the same things, and they're both smartphones.Maybe they did because it isn't? The used architecture doesn't automatically make it a PC.

The PS4/XBONE have the same architecture, do the same things (surf the internets, play da gaems, watch da movies)... so they're both PCs
And the PS4/XBONE are both overpriced ones, at that.
Hush..... Don't give them any idea.....That's like saying that a lawnmower is a car because it has a petrol engine.
