YouTube 480p and 1080p Crippled

So any of you who stream or download say 1080p videos, notice that its not possible anymore? Seems that google changed to dash format where the video and audio is split. I hope somone finds a workaround soon.

Works fine here. You have to press the gear icon, then quality. I see 1080, 720, 480 just fine, using Google Chrome.

I just use the YouTube app on my PS3. Does exactly the same videos only this absolutely guarantees that those annoying text boxes fuck off and die. Used to be able to switch them off with one button on Firefox. What happened to that idea?

Well a good chunk of people use Gmail already. But I myself was not pleased with the integration. I honestly don't think they'll ever get rid of usernames. Please stop being so butthurt.
