Hacking Will PayPal tip anyone who can solve my DLC problems for good.

Been slaving nonstop over trying to get DLC running for the US version of Borderlands 1 on Rogero 4.46 v1.01 using ReactPSN 2.27. Been to a few forums and I've only had one person try to even help me, and his suggestions unfortunately did not work. Please help, I've had this PS3 on CFW for months and feel like I can't even use it because I want DLC and just can't have it.

Let's say you're me, and you just got BL1 on your Rogero 4.46 v1.01 CFW PS3. You don't have the DLC disc that comes with the game of the year edition, you can't get it anywhere, and you can only find 3 of the 4 DLC in PSNStuff as well as in Google, also these 3 DLC packs are for the Euro version of BL1. Step by step what do you do to assure a proper activation/install of all 4 packs?

I can't help you with your specific problem, but you may want to stop searching for the DLC disc for the GOTY edition. Because it doesn't exist. GOTY edition is just a repackaged original game with a redeemable code for the DLC.

if you have a gamestop around you. you can get the disk pre-owned less then 20 bucks i thought GOTY were just disk with add-on's added to the disk?

Sadly you'll need the DLC files as well as the rap activation files. However I remember having a US version of BL2 on my PS3 and using the European DLC. I simply had to put the DLC files into the proper BL2 BLUS folder on the PS3. As well as activated it with either the US DLC rap files or European one. I can't remember which. So perhaps you should try that.

I can't help you with your specific problem, but you may want to stop searching for the DLC disc for the GOTY edition. Because it doesn't exist. GOTY edition is just a repackaged original game with a redeemable code for the DLC.

Actually there was an issue for a while where you would buy GOTY Borderlands 1 and get absolutely no DLC. This was due to an error where the GOTY edition first came with a DLC voucher, then they made the transition to the DLC being on disc and some were sent out without the DLC nor the voucher (there are also people who claim to have gotten both in one box). I actually went out last night to buy the entire thing brand new, but could not discern by the packaging which version it would be. It's strange really how they released their GOTY, as Google has turned up pics of their covers like this (http://vgboxart.com/boxes/PS3/35907-borderlands-game-of-the-year-edition.png?t=1267472380) showing that there is a separate 2nd disc containing the DLC (but missing Claptrap Revolution add-on), then you find ones that say nothing either way (all I could find at the store, which I assume means voucher/both).

Devin, I've got the DLC and their rap files (missing the Claptrap Revolution DLC for BL1, which I can't find anywhere >_<) and they are EU, so it's just like you did with your BL2, and I tried your exact method for getting those to work and had no luck =(

If I only had an OFW PS3, or a way to quickly get in and out of PSN to buy this content without being banned before I could finish, I would without hesitation. It's kind of funny/sad that they would ban you for making purchases on PSN with CFW, but it is what it is. Personally I think I'll turn to craigslist for BL1, then buy BL2 GOTY when it hits a price reduction (probably wont be for a while), but my offer still stands! If you can get my BL1 DLC'd out, you get 10$ and now also a wookie life-debt. RWAAAAAAAAAAAAAHR

Edit: Just remembered something I wanted to point out. When I look at my ReactPSN's stats, it's showing my activated rifs and edats. Now it's got a couple rifs from various things, but is showing 0 edats. Is this a clue to why my EU DLC isn't working when I move it to my US copy of the game's proper folder? I know edats are for..licensing?
