Hacking What Games Can The 3DSLINK Or GATEWAY 3DS PLAY?

So, The gateway and 3ds both work on firmware 4.5 and below, but on the gateway, you can play games that need higher firmwares. We know pokemon won't work, but does that mean new games like sonic's lost world and batman won't work either? Also, Can the 3DSLink also do firmware spoofing?

Answer to first question.
Answer to second question: No one knows. It's based off the 1.0 firmware so we'll just have to see if they've added that feature in like region free. It was just announced the other day and I doubt it got into the hands of anyone yet. (I've seen the "review" with stock photos and video just copied from the 3DSLink team's Youtube. Not counting it.)

Pokemon won't work because of NAND save.
New games might not work due to changes between 4.5 and 6.1 . Should be fixed when emuNAND is ready.

Don't buy a clone. Buy the real thing, the gateway. Currently (on the 1.2 firmware) the card can't play games with save encryption, like Animal Crossing and Pokemon. However, the team will release their 2.0 update very soon, which will solve this problem so the card will have 100% compatibility. It is unknown if the clones (like the 3DSlink) will be updated. So like I stated before, pay a little more money for a better product which is supported by a team that knows what they are doing.

I'd go for the GW3DS since the support seems to be great, it has more features and it even looks better.

You're wanting to buy a backup/pirating cartridge. At least pay for a good quality product or just buy the games.

It is pretty cheap there but I'm not sure if I could trust someone with just 6 posts that talks about the gateway.

I haven't received it yet, but looks that way to me. Wish I found out about it sooner to be honest, since it does ship from China.
