Welp the CE Bravely Default is revealed and it will cost.... well its not yet announced but you get pretty awesome stuff in the box.

34 AR Cards, the Soundtrack, the game[ofc] the deluxe artbook and Agnes Figurine[Awesome!]

Only Shopto.net is gonna have the CE so there's the only way to get it, GAME won't have it.
GAME stores are gonna have a lil artbook with the regular game if you preorder there.

But according to Siliconera, GAME is getting one as well. And you get an ADDITIONAL mini artbook to boot? Or is my sleep deprivation messing with my comprehension skills now?

Either way, I will be getting this one way or another. I'll need to ask EB to see if they are getting it. If not, time to import.

They updated it

http://www.siliconera.com/2013/10/2...rs-edition-revealed-europe-includes-figurine/

"Update: Nintendo of Europe have confirmed to Siliconera that the collector’s edition is exclusive to ShopTo.net. GAME stores will only stock the regular edition of the game, and pre-ordering this will allow you to avail the smaller artbook"

CE is Shopto only.

Are they getting this in Japan as well? Or has it already been released there and they're just releasing it for their European fans? And might they think about releasing this for their American fans, even though there's so few of us? This looks beautiful; I'd love to have it without having to import it from another country.

Not so interested in this game honestly, but its AWESOME this is exclusive to ShopTo. Personally it'd be better if it was just available everywhere, but ANYWHERE is better than Game exclusive. In my experience, they usually charge more and the service isnt as good. With ShopTo, I pretty much always get the game a day before release or on release. Had two occasions where games come after release and they're both recent games, Pokemon X/Y launched on a saturday which is a weird date, so that may be why and I believe ShopTo were waiting on some keyrings with WindWaker and I got that a day late too, otherwise, everything's always on time.
With Game, I havent used them so much, but I ordered 2 things with them sort of recently... and that was All stars battle royale and Killzone Trilogy, both came after release. Annoyingly, my hand was more forced to shop with them on those two occassions as they were both featured content only available at Game (In Killzone Trilogy's case it was a Game exclusive I believe), so I hope they either start moving exclusives everywhere, or at least whats good to me, ShopTo.

It's sold in Sweden as well, for 699 SEK. That's what The Wind Waker HD Limited edition is. That's £67 (standard edition £39)

Nintendo of America does not love you, me or anyone from the USA. The fact that they still have not announced the Limited Edition Zelda 3ds XL is proof of that. For crying out loud we have to have a leaked Gamestop Black Friday Ad confirm its release and Nintendo still has not commented on the leaked ad either.

I would've pre-ordered this already, if it weren't for 2 things; shopto are still not showing the DE on their site, and secondly - shopto have 'lost' my account data and I can't log in!
I contacted their support department twice over the past week and I've still not heard anything back - I've got "loyalty points" that equate to money off tied to that account, otherwise I'd just set up a new one... If it's not resolved by the time the Bravely Default DE is listed on their site I'll have to reconsider.

It's actually the British Pound and not the Euro. In terms of exchange rates: £ > € > $
Due to coins being stronger here, we end up paying more for our games, a 40$ game costs 40€ which is turn is 55$.

yeah that is exactly why I do not want to buy from Europe.
while you may pay more, because you live and work in the same country you get paid in the same coin so there is a sort of balance between the two (although I agree it's still not fair)
when dealing with international shopping though, such balance does not exist so it's really just a matter of wanting to pay as less as possible.
buying from VGP is even a little cheaper since they are canadian so 40 canadian dollers is like 37~38 us one :P
