Pretty sure that you as a user have absolute control over who's on your friends list on Facebook... meaning... your friends might be idiots.

Facebook is factually better-integrated with everyday devices - Facebook is compatible with just about every browser and there are Facebook apps available for most modern devices from smartphones to consoles. Hell, the underpowered DSi had one.

It's also integrated with a huge number of external services - pasting in a link from a popular site will likely result in creating a customized post specifically leading towards said site etc. while putting a link to a video will automatically embed it.

As far as functionality is concerned, Google+ does nothing to excel beyond what Facebook already does... so other than being "hip" and using a service hardly anyone else prefers is really your only argument, and said argument is moot.
