"Mortal Kombat" on the PSVita showed that NetherRealm Studios sure can make good fighting games work on the go. Much like the forementioned title, "Injustice: Gods Among Us - Ultimate Edition" will soon make its way to Sony's portable powerhouse. The company behind the title's port is Armature Studio, also known for "Metal Gear Solid HD Collection" and "Batman: Arkham Origins - Blackgate".
The game is scheduled for a November 12th release and will contain all of the DLC released for its older home console counterpart. If you're in any way interested in superhero rumbles at 60 FPS, this is a title relevant to your interests.
I personally quite enjoyed "Mortal Kombat" and I was wondering if this title will also be made portable. Hoping that it would, I was holding back from buying it. Now that it's being released, all I can say is... well, "super!".
EDIT: Gameplay footage from NYCC 2013:

Playstation Vita? More like PortStation. <- stupid remark that I am ashamed of now.
But seriously, it's good that Vita is getting this game. it's not like there's whole bunch of fighting games on it already, right? :D. But now really seriously , I heard that this game is really well-made and balanced, and 60 FPS fighters are never a bad thing :) So it's a good news for all Vita owners, I guess... Personally i think I like playing fighting games on handhelds much more than on normal consoles. Maybe it's just me, but this kind of gameplay is suitable for short gaming sessions, and that's what handheld is for.

I don't mind ports on the Portendo 3DS or the PortStation Vita as long as they're ports of good games that are fun to play. Like I said in the opening post, I was eagerly awaiting a portable version of the title as I like to "walk around" with my games, so this product is perfect for me. ;)

Yeah, I edited my previous post to include that bit of info. Well, It just really bugs me that Vita is getting more and more ports instead of games especially for it. I'm totally serious this time, I want to buy myself a Vita , but I can't find a reason, because i can think of 4 games that I want to play on it, 2 being Rayman games on-the-go... I want to see more serious support, not just ports...

//EDIT
I won't send more unnecessary posts, so I will just answer here. Yeah, I forgot about those, Killzone actually looks promising, but the 4h campaign isn't a tempting factor... And I don't care much for multiplayer :( Soul Sacrifice is good, I played a demo on my cousin's Vita and I liked it. So that's 5 games I want to play :D ( U:GA , GR, Rayman games and SS ) I just need another portable God of War goddamnit ( 1 & 2 ports don't count :P ) And maybe inFamous game... Vita is great handheld, it just needs support from Sony to boost it's sales.

"Soul Sacrifice" and "KillZone: Mercenary" appear to be good buys, I enjoyed the first thoroughly and the latter's Beta was very promising. It is a shame that the system is getting a lot of ports rather than original content, but that will no doubt change with time.

Mortal Kombat is also simultaneously one of (if not the best) fighters of all time and one of the best games on the Vita.

EDIT: AKA I have high hopes for Injustice.

Considering the fact that it's running on the same engine, except further improved, I'd say this is going to be a blast.

EDIT: A little bit of gameplay footage straight from NYCC 2013:
