Personally I find it amusing that the daily mail (for non UK people it is the rough equivalent of Fox News mashed up with a supermarket tabloid) is the one to carry the story.

I am drawn to wonder though if things have improved since the days of the fruit machine.

Hopefully it follows similar trends elsewhere (see lavender scare) and in some 10 years things get good and only get better from there.

Well, it's a broad statement, over the whole subject of what's wrong and what's right in terms of human equality. I was just stating that 'just because'.

I hate how some think that one race is better than the rest, one sexual-orientation view is better then the rest, etc. It's very sad. That's why I'd stated that we're all human. We're all equal. I dislike discrimination, you know?

This isn't an issue of people. This is about cultures. Some cultures are better than others.
