Deus Ex: HR Director's Cut is releasing on the Wii U, PS3 and 360 soon and will cost $50 on the Wii U versus $30 on the PS3/360. A $20 difference. Why you might ask?
“This is the first time Deus Ex is available on the Wii U," Square Enix said in a statement to Kotaku when we asked about the discrepancy. "We have an extensive feature set which makes full use of the Wii U GamePad, plus we were able to add exclusive features to the Wii U version which we think Nintendo fans will appreciate and truly immerse them into the world of Deus Ex like never before."

$20 more for a Wii U port of a game that came out a while ago. Seems legit.

The really sad part is the game is just boring. Maybe the Wii-U pad would add something to it but I just can't see this turd being polished enough.

Maybe some one could help me here, I have the game on the PC (not installed right now) and I played it for about 6 hours, I was so bored I uninstalled it because I hadn't touched it in months.

Does the game get better and I just didn't give it enough time? *Plot wise... the game itself played alright.

Since when did a Nintendo console (excluding GBA, DS) since the Snes get any decent Final Fantasy games? And no Crystal Chronicles doesn't count.

The flip side to that is when was the last decent Final Fantasy game even made on any system lol

Well over ten years ago last I checked, the Playstation, Final Fantasy IX was the last decent one IMHO.

Square Enix logic: "Yeah, let's port a game that isn't that new anymore, it worked for Need For Speed Most Wanted, yes?"

Late ports never sell well. If they want to support the Wii U, they know better than to port games well after they're being sold on other consoles. Release the damn game the same time the other versions are released. Scumbags.

Maybe i have more money than sense but if you've not played the original then i dont see how that price is that bad, i havent and (if conversion rates on google are accurate) £31 doesnt seem that bad to me. Seems to me that porting it and adding a bunch of new stuff and making it work with the wii-u at all would indeed probably cost more time and effort to do. Im glad they ported it at all so that price doesnt seem so bad to me. If you dont like it, dont buy it.

^ That gameplay on the tablet looks cool and fun.

After thinking about it a bit, I would buy the Wii-U version IF they included a re skinned version of the original game.

Sort of like how Valve has the source version of Half Life 1, not a new game but the graphics are improved so at least your eyes wont bleed when you play it.
