Hardware Something about Pokemon X/Y and 2ds on Amazon

I am a Malaysian and I goin to buy Pokemon X/Y and 2ds from Amazon.us, I bought a 3ds couple days ago but the region of the 3ds is for Malaysia/Singapore/UAE
If I bought Pokemon X/Y and 2ds from Amazon.us, can it work on my 3ds?
By the way, why 2ds only on Amazon.uk? What about 2ds for US?

if you got bought the 2ds at amazon.co.uk the game bought at amazon.com wont work on it.the game is U region like your 3ds but the console (2ds) is E region
