Hacking USB Loader GX - WiiWare crashing when trying to exit to wii menu or reset

Title says it all really, I'm using EmuNAND - just left with a black screen, the only option being to remove the power cable. Not sure if the issue's specific to USB Loader GX or if it's the same with other launchers...

*EDIT* Even pressing the off button on the Wii U still leads to the same black screen...

the only possible solution i can think of is if you manage to get wiiflow to return to wiiflow once uve quit a game. go wiiflow/settings/return to=wiiflow. i think it is a problem wen you quit the game because it goes to go to system menu but i think the emunand holds files from your wii system menu. so as you can see there would be some confussion for the console. thats my guess anyway

or if you was able to spend your time and locate the .app folder on your emunand that contains the old system menu maybe remove it. but ive npt done it myself amd this could then in turn ruin your wad games

Bad wads?
Make sure your emunand is on your hdd root and use rev 17 based cios for problem games.
You could install rev 17 cios in slot 247 aside the d2x 56 based cios in slot 249 and and 57 based in slot 250.

Nope, tried at least 5 different wads, same result with them all
*EDIT* I also have the nand on the HDD root

Cheers I'll try that, where can I grab that cios pls? (so far the only cios mods I've done have been from the pinned guide: http://gbatemp.net/threads/simple-guide-to-install-cios-on-vwii-backup-nand-and-keys.339890/ so I would assume anyone who's followed that would be having the same problem as me)

oh crap.... forgot about that. im the same ive not bothered with it yet since last week.
ill look online hopefully usbloader should have a simular feature or another loader at least. because i mean havin a feature that returns you from your game to the loader is quite a big thing so hopefully one of them should have it

http://modmii.zzl.org/ Download modmii by xflak.
It,s a pc app that can grab any wii related file for you.
If you properly softmodded your wii you should have used it before.
While your at it update your cios to the latest d2x beta, wich is mandatory for emunandchannel emulation.
My guess is yiu have d2x v6 installed, wich is not compatible with emunand channel emulation.
Bttom line us update your softmod with the help of modmii.

In order to install wads you have to load a cios in order to acces write rights first.
If you can tell me wich wad installer you are using I might be able to help.
If you are using the modmii files, I suspect you do not have ios 236 installed.
BTW the cios you are trying to install will replace whatever is installed in your ios 250slot.
Modmii can build a custom cios wad for you from it's advanced settings.
It can build a cIOS wad file that will install in a free slot, prefereably slot 247.

a cIOS based on an official IOS.
D2X is an evolution of an original cIOS by Waninkoko.

Typically you would have installed a d2xcIOS based on IOS56 installed in slot 249 and a d2xcIOS based on IOS57 installed in slot 250.
In order to the most benifit of emunand emulation you ought to have this.

Some games have problems.
To circumvent this you can install a cIOS Revision 17 or 19 ( Waninkoko pre d2x )based on IOS38 installed in slot 247.
In order you benifit this you will have to have your emunand in the root of you HDD.
Only then you can tell USB loader GX to use slot 247 on a per game basis from the game settings.
Modmii can build this cIOS for you from it;s advanced downloads tab ( modmii classic )

keep things simple mate. just use the alt 53 with a 236 installed so u wont have issues installing things.
