I'm watching Nintendo Direct and they just announced this.
Now our HomePass relays will be overloaded with people, I can't wait

Yeah, that makes me wonder if it's US-only (for now) or something... But if that works for Worldpass/Homepass/whateveryouwannacallit...Guess a new update is coming in a couple of days then.
Btw EU Direct didn't say anything about it.
I have a hard time imagining having to play 60 (6*10) Miis per streetpass play with 6 different games. There will probably be a limit of 6-12 people at a time imposed I'm sure.Well dear god Homepass will be absolutely ridiculous. Imagine 160 macs, with 6 people per mac.

Let's just hope they don't block homepass altogether with this 'upgrade'.
They'd have to use a whitelist and whitelist every single nintendo zone mac address, and if that is the case we could just use those.
Is it deployed/implented already? I Homepassed last night and only got one per MAC. :/
if they wanted they could block homepass so easily, just add alittle more info into the packet sent to the nintendo zone like ip address given to the 3ds - then everyone would need to use the same dhcp configuration, they can even read the ip that sent the packet and clearly see from where each spotpass packet is coming fromIsn't that exactly what I said? So they basically CAN'T block homepass because we can just change the MAC addresses.
Reading and researching yourself seems to be a dying art these days....
Yes it is. But the fact that a few days later, I still am only getting 1 unique tag per MAC begs the question (again)...
