So I got a Vita today and to my disappointment found out that despite a huge amount of PSX games being supported on it, my favorite game of all time is not. (It's Spyro, by the way) so now I'm looking for ways to make this happen without voiding the warranty or calling Sony to yell at them until they hang up and get a restraining order.

So it seems like I now have to go through the complete pain in the ass that is getting ANOTHER account to download one game, but all the guides online say you can only download demos or other free content. The thing is, I already own this game, I've actually owned it about four times in my life. I not only have a disc of it, but I have a PSN download.

So what I want to know is if I can access the game on my download list if I get a UK account.

Apparently most UK accounts require UK credit cards to purchase anything from them, yet a friend of mine knows two people who have UK accounts for the express purpose of getting the R&C HD collection early.

And if the answer to this question is "no" then I'd like some alternative way to access a UK store.

Technically you can switch accounts by entering the Settings section and changing your ID each time you want to "switch the region", but it will disable all of your other games until you re-sign back to your original account. Naturally you'll need UK points or a UK credit card to charge the account and buy the game, but they're not "unobtainable" - you can get a UK PSN card online with ease, for example from amazon.co.uk.

I personally think it's a huge hassle for one game, but it can be done. Before you do so though, make sure that the game truly isn't downloadable from your current Download List - your past purchases should be visible on the PSVita with a note saying whether they're downloadable on the system or not. If the game worked on your PSP/PS3, I can't think of a single reason why it wouldn't work on the PSVita.

I tried my download list, tried transferring it from my PS3, and I tried Googling why. Apparently it's just SCEA dragging their feet as usual with releasing PS1 games though. >_> Guess I have to keep using my PSP for that.

That's a real shame. I'm sure they'll catch up with the rest of the releases in due time. You must be pretty damn devoted to that game, Kazekai! :P

It is quite honestly my favorite game of all time. Out of all the games in the world, it has the most of what I want and the least of what I don't want, so yeah I'd say that's accurate.
