Nintendo Virtual Boy fans who are lucky enough to own a Flash Boy should be happy to know that a Street Fighter project is in the works. The released demo features 4 fighters, 4 stages, and many familiar sound effects. Unfortunately for emulator fans, this game is currently only functioning on actual hardware. This game is shaping up to be of commercial quality, something that fans of the series will want to experience. If only Nintendo had managed to relaunch the system, this game could have easily been among the unreleased generation-2 software line-up. If you have the necessary hardware, grab the demo from the download link below and give it a try. If you do not own a Virtual Boy, then post your comments about Street Fighter, homebrew, or the amazing things packed into this game. If you are generally negative and think you know about the Virtual Boy because you read an article once, or watched the AVGN review, please don't comment.
Update 8/27/13
An update to the multi-system emulator, Mednafen, has just been released. It reportedly can play the Street Fighter demo. Grab it HERE.
